The father of another high draftee in his draft year warned me that Tigga was a bit laconic.
What might have been.
Good luck young Tigga
Laconic - dont you love it. The word that keeps on giving. Ok, he doesnt say much to the point of rudeness, as long as he can get the ball.

land height (not platform or rail height) at caulfield station is approx 38m
land height at glen huntly park is approx 49m
so there is an 11m height difference north to south with the slope down to the north
this means ovals will probably be dug in quite a few metres on one side creating an embankment which would be good for viewers without affecting sight lines for racing. Probably deep enough to allow for some lockable storage facilities to avoid the wasted time of moving gear as at aami
above heights are not precise for exact placement sites, but a reasonable indication
There are already 2 storey buildings in the middle of course, plus bbq shelters and er ablutions block. Obviously thse dont impact race viewing. And as you say the 'back straight' is on a rise.

And some of the Trackwatchers behind the scenes banter -
Wow. Who is that sprinting over there? - a dog walker has just run on to retrieve a ball.
Viney looks much taller. - I think someone else is wearing nos 7.
Has anyone seen (insert players name here)? No, but I saw his sister in Maccas (Thx)
and
You DIDNT did you Ghosty? - Yes.

One of the tunnels is pedestrian traffic only but i reckon you can drive a golf buggy down it.
The other is a 2 lane vehicle road which would accomodate earth moving equipemnt for the creation of the ovals.

A week later we said that we brought Jack Steele in to play Oliver's role. So not sure how anyone squares that circle.
Jack Steele has a defensive game and Clarrie doesnt.

But clearing the decks is the easy part
Ultimately the club and his tenure will be based upon success on the field
TBH I reckon that clearing the decks is very hard. Just go read the Tim Lamb, Tracca and Clarrie threads.
But as you say the clubs purpose is to win at footy, and Guerra doesnt pull the boots on. Tough gig.

"All I would say is by the time the AGM comes around we will be in a position to give a really positive alignment.”
Many have made similar proposed AGM porclamations and failed. Let's hope. Then again what does "positive alignment" mean and does that mean its not really an official announcement just some positive unofficial comments
I use a health professional the same as maysie.
"Lovely bloke, affable but has those eyes you dont want to see when you leave the bar at 2.00am"

What a bunch of sad sacks on this forum.
Condemnd if they communicate, condemnd if they dont. its spin spin spin. Blah blah blah.
Maysies story was what I thought it was.
Trac wanted a fresh start elsewhere, when you consider the changes made, possibly means he iss not happy with what hasnt changed. Anyway he checked out 2 seasons ago.
The interesting points were the $$$$. Room in the soft cap and the salary cap as well.

True. The only hassle is the car park we want to build on is currently leased by the MRC.

Unless there's been an unannounced changed of rules you can trade picks right up to and on draft night.
Lamb was asked a very poorly worded question. Are you taking picks 7 and 8 to the draft? As trading for players has closed you have to take them to the draft, so he said yes. Lamb was not asked Will you uptrade on draft night?

Reading the tea leaves between the lines I thought the relationship was already on rocky ground the season before when the rumours of Tracc wanting out started to surface. Pure conjecture on my part but this might explain the clubs lucklustre response to his terrible injury.
Still back on topic, I dont like the Pies.

Don’t mind the result but really should have had more mongrel to get Humphrey, but hey three first rounders is nothing to sneeze at for a 30 year old.
Taking the picks to the draft was a dumb question (coz we are like duh) and the interviewer got off lightly.
Sorry to see Trac and Clarry go but with the picks we got in, and players, I am happy with how we went.
Going into next years draft with 2 first rounders and space in our salary cap means we are setting ourselves up to trade in a player???

Takes me back to the old Bellbird days…Charlie Cousins, did he fall, or was he pushed?
(oh, and Andy, you may want to consider a minor change to the post’s title 😉)
Fall....who did he play for anyway
