  1. Not going the way I wanted but it is entertaining. I feel we can come back. I hope they regroup
  2. Can’t believe I’m so late to this one (family issues) but I’d say that was our win of the season. Against a team I never thought we’d beat. Not only that, we killed them. Never in doubt. I’m so proud of us. Never surrendered the lead all match. Can’t wait to have a well-earned break and enjoy the finals. I have nothing to fear from Brisbane from now on. go Dees
  3. Wow now that was a game for the ages. Carlton had everything to play for and we still beat them. No doubt they have us their all and we still won. So many games we’ve lost like this and for once we beat them. Melksham, Kozzie were back in form. I was a bit worried about a town at the start but he came good when we needed him. Now we’ve shown we can win when all hope seems lost. So proud of the boys tonight. Well done ❤️
  4. We are the absolute champions of hanging on to the ball too long.
  5. Lol can you buy the patch? I’d like to sew it on some random jumper 🤣 Just joking they look great
  6. I was at the game. I know we didn’t have the best seats but I seriously didn’t see Weids having a crack. Maybe it was just our viewing. I will say that the one thing I criticised about Goodwin’s coaching last year was giving Weids games at the expense of Brown. Brown was really good when he played and Goody would still put Weid in at his expense. I just couldn’t understand it. Brown hasn’t had the best form lately, but he can still be counted on taking at least one good mark and kick a goal. Weiderman can’t. While Brown is far from his best I’d take Brown over him any day if the week. I just can’t comprehend people saying that Brown’s no better than Weids. Brown is way better and given his recent form that’s saying a hell of a lot
  7. Sorry I’m ridiculously late. Just got home from an extended weekend in Perth. Went to the game (I now have someone to stay with there 😁) What a great game. Never once did I think it was in doubt. Led all game and never looked like giving it up once. Our boys were superb. Getting back in form at the right time. Only thing was the crowd was absolutely feral. They make Essendon fans look timid. Booed anytime they gave up the ball. Loud and abusive. Was called a few name by a few uncouth people (luckily I was defended by my man.) Other than that it was absolutely freezing. Got absolutely soaked. We had to go to the apartment afterwards and change. And what they said about the noise was correct. You can’t believe how loud it is there. But all in all, had a lovely long weekend. Hoping to go to more game here next year ❤️
  8. I was so proud of Kozzie today. Man of the match by a mile. Brown was really good too. I’m very relieved to have won. It really took a lot out of us to dig deep and win. I know it was under difficult conditions but we really did struggle. I really hope we can come back hard against the Dogs, who are improving. Still a tough way home. I know we’ll be there, but I really hope we can at least keep a top four spot. We really couldn’t have afforded a loss today.
  9. Sorry I’m so late, but damn that was fantastic. Watched it fully expecting to lose. We made the top team look average. All without our captain. Our players really stood up to the challenge. This is by far the best game we played all year. Well done, boys
  10. Just awful is all I can say. Our season is in serious trouble. How many times they kicked to a Collingwood player in our forward was embarrassing
  11. I’m not upset we lost, I’m upset how we lost. We had them down and they came back and had the momentum and we didn’t even stop them. Many played below expectations. Bedford had a good quarter then stopped. We weee outmarked, by the taller players. Every time they got it I couldn’t bear to look up. Eventually shut off the tv in frustration. It’s like we just have to. I know we can learn from a loss, but that wasn’t just a loss, it was a humiliation. Now we Sydney and Collingwood (who beat Freo)
  12. Well since that practice matches are considered training, not real matches, I’d say ANB has his facts wrong
  13. I have some blues supporters friends who claim we don’t have 15 wins in a row because they beat us in a practice match. The stupidity in some people beggars belief
  14. My word I thought Bombers fans were bad. They have nothing on north fans. Every time that there wasn’t a decision that went any other way then their, all booing and carrying on. The amount of abusing and whinging I heard all day was really pathetic. Considering how bad their team is, you’d think they’d be more humble
  15. Didn’t post for a while, but I actually got to go to the game in person. The guy I gave my barcode to, actually fulfilled his promise to pay for me to go to the game and stay over in WA. Really had a lovely time at Optus stadium and we got on really well and had a lovely weekend together. It was my first time at a game interstate (have only been to SCG and Canberra previously.) All this for simply giving my barcode away from the grand final. He promised if I did, he would. I didn’t really expect him to fulfil his promise, but he did. It shows there is some kindness left in humanity. Thank you very much to (asked not to say his name in public) for a wonderful time 🤗
  16. In his premiership diary, he stated that Daw thrashed him in a scratch match. If Daw still can’t get a game, I can’t see the point of keeping him. I’d say he’s too much expensive for a player we won’t use unless exceptional circumstances
  17. Yeah but he stuffed up a few times. Held on too long and got caught which is happening a few times with him lately
  18. Wasn’t too bad. A very sloppy quarter in the third allowed them to come back. Still glad we came back and won the 4th. Gawn a bit quiet. Clarry had a quiet game. Bradshaw was fantastic. Top notch game. May another standout. Really glad to see that we have finally beaten a top 4 team so critics can shut up a bit
  19. Lol I’ve lost relationships over that. Also, coming home can be hard. Luckily a friend drove me home last week, but I couldn’t ask that if him every week.
  20. Much as I’d like to, I can’t afford to go to every game. It’s not just transport, inconvenient times, getting home late, idiotic fans, it’s also costs money for drinks and food. Being single, it also depends on whether my family can go and they’ve got their own families too. I guess if I end up dating a demons supporter it might change *sigh*
  21. Daisy Pearce is the featured article on Wikipedia today. Not a bad feat, being there are millions of articles featured
  22. I meant if it was a goal or mark 🥱
  23. Just watching the replay now. Anyone else notice that Gary dropped the ‘F’ bomb live on tv after Bedford kicked the goal?
  24. I definitely could have seen that going either way. If it made been played as a point I wouldn’t have protested
