Sounds about right TBH. Nev a little stiff to miss. Full seasons to Tmac and Brayshaw and I reckon they may have got the nod

Farewell Jesse Hogan
We don't necessarily need the picks - but first round picks are great currency to trade into getting the finishing touches we actually need in other parts of the ground, i.e an established, classy outside mid. And that's my point - if the Weed is deemed suitable to be our #1 target up forward at the end of the season, then why not at least consider trading Hogan for picks, and then trading those picks to fill gaps elsewhere? It's all just food for thought at the moment, I'm certainly not in the "we must trade hogan" camp, but if there's a chance trading him will put us in a net better position then I'd certainly give it thought. Let's see if the Weed shows signs he can be that guy first though. Then the convo is worth actually having.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
It's probably too early to make this call. If the weed plays out of his skin and shows us to be what we all hope him to be in the finals, then I see no issue making inquiries re: getting 2 first rounders for Jesse. Jesse is no doubt a great player, but he's not worth more than 2 first rounders in a super draft if the weed holds his own in September.

Ben Cousins arrested on drug charges
As someone who fought this battle as a teenager and won, I sincerely hope he can break through. Problem is, it appears he doesn't even want to, so what can you do really. Maybe the media could give it a rest and let him kill himself in peace perhaps.

Wallace Calls Out Goody
Love a good armchair expert comment like this. Get your hand off it mate - playing top level sport is never easy for anyone.

Goody Presser (16/8)
Can't argue with that mate. I guess there's a fine line between having faith in your system and game plan and being dynamic when required. I'm just hopefully Goody finds that balance sooner than later.

Goody Presser (16/8)
I liked Goody's presser today. Although his game day coaching hasn't been great, I feel he is getting better at being more dynamic and identifying issues as they happen. It's only his second year with with the reigns after all. When we lose as many games as we have this year by a couple of kicks, it's really just up to the players at that point. We're closer than ever before, and I'm backing Goody in as he seems to have the respect and buy-in from the playing group. That's one of the most important aspects of being the head coach in my opinion, the rest can and will improve in time.

Hogan 2018 season over with foot injury
Not taking anything personally, just calling out the rubbish comment about how people should feel ashamed for being critical of Hogan simply because he has now become injured
