Goody - Genius or insane?
I donât know if he is insane, but Iâve had the opinion for quite some time that the only thing Goodwin and âgeniusâ have in common are three letters of the alphabet.

Salem Thyroid Concern
âThat is all part of it. You just have to embrace it. It is all going good now, and I just have to keep on the medication and keep it under control.â Hyperthyroidism requires constant vigilance and medication (usually radioactive iodine) to keep it from overwhelming the patient and sending them back to the couch. Itâs pretty easy to draw the conclusion that Salo, while currently on top of it, is always going to have to work harder than others on team to keep his base fitness intact. I see this as different to fielding an âinjuredâ player, as nothing suggests that playing him has a potentially adverse effect on his condition.

Salem Thyroid Concern
Thereâs no need to question when an answer has been placed right in front of you. Salemâs drop in form is entirely attributed to his thyroid issues, which are ongoing. Whether his current form is good enough to be named in our best 22 is a question Iâm sure the selectors grapple with week after week, but clearly in their opinion, any would-be replacements still donât match him.

Salem Thyroid Concern
Imagine. I just posted this article here, because itâs a fresh article about âSalemâs Thyroid Concernâ, which is obviously an ongoing thing. And I continue to be a bit weirded-out by a couple of posters even now still saying âyeah but whatâs this drop in form all about?â As other sensible voices have noted, Salem at âsolid AFL levelâ is not what weâve come to expect from an âeliteâ player, but heâs still got his place in the side because âSolid AFLâ Salem is better than what else is on offer. We just have to be patient with him.

https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/i-was-pretty-much-stuck-on-the-couch-for-a-month-why-christian-salem-is-hell-bent-on-bouncing-back-20230913-p5e4g4.html Poor Salo really has been through the wringer. A lot of posts in recent weeks questioning his form. Have been more than surprised as to why some people are even wondering whatâs up with him

Maynard must get at least four weeks
Was a bit of a flaccid entrance, though.

Maynard must get at least four weeks
Bobo, Youâve got to let people here be angry for a couple of hours. There arenât too many sympathetic ears out there. Social media is a disastrous place to engage as a Dees supporter right now. People just want to metaphorically break a few TV sets and say things that will likely not be repeated after a decent nightâs sleep. This is the room youâre having trouble reading. You might not like it, but nobodyâs forcing you to engage. Go and watch an episode of âTo The Manor Bornâ or something. Normal* transmission will resume tomorrow, promise. *ish ps. I believe local councils are the most corrupt government bodies in this country and I firmly believe that they should be abolished bye

Maynard must get at least four weeks
As @Macca said earlier, the best outcome of the last several hours has been seeing Gus doing so well. Whether he continues playing or not, he has all the intellect and charm to ensure continued success in whatever direction he chooses to go. As for Maynardâs future, I see a Rebel Sports outlet near an airport somewhere, and a name-tag that says âBraydenâ.

Maynard must get at least four weeks
Ha! Iâm quite good at saying things like âWow, thatâs crazyâ, âHow weirdâ and âMy, what an interesting sub-consciousness you haveâ. As long as you canât see me digging my nails into my skin youâd never know.

Maynard must get at least four weeks
Dropping over to my house unannounced is the quickest way to get on my shyt-list, period. The second-quickest way is to go into a long account of a dream you had the previous night.

And here was me thinking the reason you made your initial post was to tell us how âashamed you were to be a Demonlanderâ.

Ahhhhh, I see! It was a joke! It must have gone completely over my head because, I dunno, it wasnât remotely funny or something.

Once again, youâve literally threatened violence against people here. While nobody here takes that threat - or you - seriously, you did it nonetheless. So as for âletâs get a gripâ, youâd be best following your own advice.

I reckon the mods will be far more interested in this comment mate.

Some of us have been a little too distracted reading your threats of violence, rather than the Bedford case. Youâre the worst case Iâve ever seen in six years of posting here. I know youâre no longer employed as a lawyer, but maybe you should go chase an ambulance for old timeâs sake.

âRationonatelyâ Thanks for the further clarification, Dennis Denuto. How about you acknowledge the comment that put you off-side with most of your detractors? Or are you no longer feeling âashamedâ to dwell amongst us? Itâs perfectly acceptable if you feel Maynard will be let off, but the ill-will towards your comments could have been avoided if you worded your point of view in a far less arrogant manner. There wouldnât be an enormous debate over this incident if it was a cut-and-dry case, and because of this, nobody is going to praise your big lawyer-brain if it happens to fall the way youâve so courageously predicted.
