Who knows the effects of watching a team you where brought into in its darkest days push into September whilst you sit on the sidelines, perhaps he saw that the team had gone around him and he was no longer a key piece. Maybe he was frustrated with his playing position and the teams style, maybe Dean Kent moving on helped the decision. Jesse will be a good forward but not the best, Freo would want to improve a lot from this season to give him good opportunities. Whilst i would rather have him in the side we will not good backwards from this, others will get their opportunities and Melbourne will be a very strong attacking side 2019.
