If Pedo is dropped Im sending my Membership back

Should have played him all season and last season as well

And when he retires from Melbourne he can be Captain / Coach of Casey

I Fu$#&@g love Pedo there is no perceivable way he could be dropped with the way he is playing. It would be an absolute outrage of biblical proportions if this eventuates.

    Id like to see:

In: Gawn (or if not ready, Spencer)

Out: O Mac (not on form, on team balance)

Oscar is very stiff as he played a good game but Tom is a better backman, Pedersen goes forward and we can't go too tall. We need a good ruckman to help us win the midfield battle, we've covered it well but it's time to get first use again.

ANB and Harmes would be on the chopping block if they want to reward Stretch and JKH but I'd back them both in.

Its a pretty simple formula win all of the next 3, play finals. Win 2/3 most likely play finals, 1/3 finals possible but unlikely, 0/3 no finals.

Its a huge 3 weeks for us. Time to play 4 quarter footy and get our best team back on the field.

I think you'll find that these lapses in quarters are directly link to the fact we have had no specialist ruckman for 6 weeks teams just seem to get a run on in quarters with first use and we are unable to quell the influence of their ruck and mid brigade.

I dont want to get shot down here but what about both Gawn and Spencer come in for Omac (I know he probably had a career best game on Monday but the doggies forward line isn't huge) and ANB.

We tried two ruck men for most if not all of the JLT and it seemed to work. Could allow both bigmen to work into match fitness during their rucking duties whilst the other rests forward. This would give us a clear advantage in the hit outs and minimises risk to our AA ruck. All whilst stretching the doggies defence too.

    FF Garlett Spencer Hannan

    HF Petracca Pedo Watts

    C Melksham Oliver Hunt

    HB Hibberd Frost Lewis

    FB Jetta mcdonald salem

    Fol Gawn Jones Viney

    Bench Tyson harmes vince bugg

We will never go in with 2 rucks. I think Gawny will be ready to go this week, I think Goody is playing ducks and drakes saying that he won't play.

I think today showed quite clearly that we really need a genuine ruckman. Probably for the first time since Gawn/Spencer went down we were really hurt in the middle and mostly explained our poor first half. If Max is not ready, then we should definitely play Spencil this week IMHO.

This was a glaring issue during the NM game couldn't get any momentum in the ruck and through our clearance work it will all change for the better now.

  5. I love it how they reffer to the game as a nothing game lol. Their team had a chance to get into the eight and blew it, also love how this game means nothing to them and the players don't care, well sorry to tell you scumbags the look on your coaches and players face spoke a thousand words after the game and you reckon they don't care hahahaha bunch of tossers. You reckon they'll care later on in R23 yeah will see Collingsooks, as the old saying goes winners are grinners and losers can go and get fu#$@%??

  6. Yes we won I'm over the moon don't get me wrong but couldn't help but notice that once we gained the ascendency we blazed away too often instead of lowering our eyes to a forward leading targets. This in my opinion is whats holding us back to taking a massive step forward to the dizzy heights of the ladder.

First live game for myself in 2017. Just want the win, so we get an extra week to get a ruckman back, not fussed about percentage at all.

Play hard from the start, let us be the team saying how the game is dictated.

I wish I was going to this game biggest QB match since the 2002 season when both teams finished in the 8.

He can play predominantly forward and give Max a chop out when he needs it (Max could go to the bench or rest up forward).

Give Hoges the CHF position. It's the one he should be playing.

The big winner when Gawny and Hoges come back will be Wattsy, you watch his performances spike he'll be off the leash once he gets the 3 or 4 defender and spells through the midfield.

Cam has surprised many - his intensity and his pressure and second (and third+) efforts have lifted the team.

Not the most talented on our list, most would agree,  but this year in particular has shown himself to be one of the hardest working and courageous of our rapidly developing midfield.

I've have always maintained that we are a much better side with Pedo in the line up. This will only be enhanced once Gawny and Hoges come back in2 the line up.

Wow the Hawks are 2nd last.  Awesome to witness their downfall and even better they dont have their first round pick...  but on the downside, St Kilda will have a very high pick in the draft.  Can only wish they pick a dud.

wasn't awesome losing to the Hawks I can tell you.

  12. I can safely say I tipped Carlton and Bris NO Sandilands no freo and they are flat track no wet weather team (how did we manage too lose unbelievable)and Bris off the break GWS are decimated with injuries and Carl coming off a break.?

  13. If it wasn't for Silvani dreaming up  the masterplan to setup the GWS in the first 3yrs and entice 8-10 fringe GWS players to come to Carlton while he was head of their list management they would be screwed. He knew very well to have a strong healthy list for his kids to play in (3 boys) He had been in cohouts with Carlton of his plans with the proviso that his kids are all Father son selections and a healthy pay packet this was there way out of the dungeons. A once in a lifetime opportunity Carlscum,Silvani and Mike Fitspatrick have concocted.

It's beyond belief this team gets consecutive Friday night matches.

I couldn't believe this when I saw them promoting next week's Friday night game what a Joke. That makes it 3 Friday night games for the season compaired to our 1 F$#@ me AFL.

That incident when Watts was targeted by their players seems to have been greatly overrated and overhyped ever since to me, with all the "haha welcome to AFL football Jack" talk. At the time he wasn't actually crunched or hurt or anything, he just got up and took his free kick and played on.

They went after Watts can remember it as clear as day and make no bones about it I will be disappointed if our senior players don't lay into him and rough that choir boy up gd and proper.
