At home I can scream and rant without offending 3 I pay for kayo (every game live (still have membership every year) 4 Do not have to put up with [censored]/drunks both opposition and my supporters annoying me 5 Price of food parking 6 See the game better on TV when ball is on other side I have to watch the screen at MCG 7 weather 8 Covid Apart from that I cannot thing of anything At 63 I do not feel bad I had reserved seats for years in the lean years for 4 people.... I still pay full membership no reserved seats I am still as passionate as ever

I went to a private public school (Wesley) (firstly we all did not end up with high incomes !! I am very just middle class) There were 3 guns at footy and the footy comp in the APS was a high standard. The 3 guns BICKFORD played one season MFC under Barassi and then later was on the board. Second bloke surname Senior played one game with Richmond and NAYLOR played about 3 games for Richmond. I was amazed that they did not kick on given their talent. Then another bloke who did not play for the school but got drafted (McLean .. not Brock) I saw play a few reserve games for MFC and then gone. Shows how hard it must be(to kick on in AFL) and that was in the 80's Anyone that makes AFL has my admiration

yes you are right but I hate Essendon too. Michael long will always be on my hate list after GF 2000 friends have said get over it... never I hate Essendon always will . (their supporters are shockers but then again so are all opposition supporters LOL) Having got that of my chest tonight is a real worry I thought we were a bit lucky to beat them last year. yes shocking call. But a really hard code to umpire I am sure they do their best . I have a mate who is is umpiring at VFL level and trying to get to AFL. The work and devotion they do is amazing not to mention the constant answering and criticism they cop off their superiors. Yes money is OK but a hard job. threats on social media no thanks !! .
