  1. He needs to put on more size and increase his tank, I love Judd but when he’s spent time in the middle previously he got absolutely bullied
  2. Crazy to think he’s already at 200, remember his debut like it was yesterday. Where’s the time gone
  3. Agree with the sentiment, but need to look at players unable to break into good sides, not poor sides. Would rather Malcolm Rosas from the suns.
  4. I’d probably rather someone else, but I’d assume Sharp would come in for sparrow? Not sure who else you’d give the nod to, I’d like to see Culley get a run
  5. JVR and Jeffo good today despite not kicking too many goals. Kolt iffy, but keep persisting as he’ll grow with experience. Lever looks like he’s absolutely battling to get above a jog.
  6. [censored] it play the kids. Despite pretty mid form in the vfl I’d like to see verrall and culley get a run. If the seasons cooked it’s worth seeing if these younger types have what it takes to compete.
  7. People just being negative for the sake of being negative and tbf given our history it’s just engrained at this point. Plenty of players on our list should give supporters reason to be excited for the future, in addition to NGA and father sons on the horizon. Picketts contract is probably a little bit on the high side atm, but his resume to where his peers (Rioli, Betts, Farmer etc) stood at this point in their careers stacks up arguably better. Plus those players never really pushed into the midfield and dominated games like Kozzy is starting to do more and more. Given that player salaries are continuing to skyrocket anyway I think Picketts will eventually be pretty run of the mill.
  8. The GOAT
  9. Stealing defeat from the jaws of victory is so on brand for us. Played bravely but shot ourselves in the foot too many times, however I think our boys can hold their heads high.
  10. This is infuriating
  11. Spot on. Reminding me of a more nimble Jake Lever with a stronger ability to win 1v1s
  12. Disco has been absolutely excellent as of late.
  13. Taking my comment far too literally there mate, it was meant in tongue in cheek - obviously Bell and Dodoro are scrubs. Ultimately I’m just hoping for a positive net outcome should the trade eventuate
  14. I know, i just remember how difficult it all was dealing with Bell in both the Jackson and Hogan trades. I was saying it’d be nice to see us set an asking price and stick to it, not cave in to suit anyone but ourselves.
  15. Hopefully if this does happen we stop playing the nice guy in trade negotiations, I would love to see us show a bit of back bone. Bring out our inner Peter Bell / Adrian Dodoro..
  16. Sorry for the possible ignorance but was Caulfield ever considered a certainty to get done? I seem to remember there being a bit of pushback from the local community and council about the whole situation and tbf I don’t remember what the outcome from that was. Whether he’s been briefed or not I doubt the first introduction Guerra wants to give us is a proclamation that we will be in Caulfield by X date, only for it to fall over later down the line. Until something a little more concrete comes out I don’t blame him for dancing around the questions. Let the bloke get his hands dirty before we criticise his ability to do the job.
  17. Leek Aleer worth a shout? Out of contract at the end of the year
  18. I think if the price is right, definitely worth a punt. Blokes like Langdon and Hunter etc need to have more pressure on them to perform, and if that’s solely what Billings provides then its a positive.
  19. 46 and F2 for Grundy 🤔
  20. Gutless. Umpiring was pathetic but still no excuse for a team that looked flat out scared on the big stage. Credit to Carlton for taking advantage of their opportunities
  21. Tom Hickey is retiring - https://www.afl.com.au/news/1015954 if I was a betting man I’d say Grundy is on his way to Sydney (no mail, just an assumption)
  22. Reckon he’s definitely worth enquiring about. As other posters have said blokes like Petracca, Harmes, Neal-Bullen, Hibberd and Hunter etc won’t be around forever and it’s important to keep chasing the next generation of young talented players when they’re available. I’d say it’s also dependent on what our plans are for the draft, whether we’re all in on Reid or if we take those four early picks and find other avenues to top up other areas of need. I’d also be on board to poach him for the sake of rustling Fremantles’ jimmies
  23. You’d look at Stack based off talent - but his off field stuff/attitude(?) would probably threaten any chance of his career getting revived by another team
  24. Same as Trade Radio regurgitating the same rubbish day after day
