I’ve been a bit surprised about Smith’s name being thrown up. Firstly Joel is still trying to get back to His best footy after some nasty injuries but mostly that Joel is a rebounding half back, not a key defender. I’d think having only 1 tall defender in won’t be able to stack up against any decent forward line, you need a minimum 2 Key Talls down back. The 3 I named are all tall defenders.

Frost, Keilty, Petty in that order, but today will see who really wants to put their hand up for it.

Huge game today considering the circumstances. We have at least 1 guaranteed change to the Senior team and the best defender today might very well get the go ahead. There is also some injury cloud surrounding a couple of others so the boys who want to play on the Queen's birthday need to perform.

Gutted for Jake, was just finding some great form too. Hopefully it isn't a full ACL tear. As for his replacement, Frost is probably the most likely given his similar role and AFL experience. But we'll have to see how the 3 talls, Frost, Keilty and Petty, play tomorrow to see who is really putting their hand up. Optimistically, if Keilty has a big game tomorrow, it would be a dream come true to see him debut in a big game like the Queen's birthday, to see if he has what it takes to play at Senior level. Over the last 4 weeks I would say Keilty is probably the most in-form in the VFL of the defenders, but it's a pretty close run. I am about 80% sure Frost will get the gig, but damn It'd be great to see Dec get a run at it.

Yeah it wasn’t pretty but it’s still a 50 point win. Good work by the boys who were under real siege.

Sorry mate I couldn't tell ya. I havent spoken with him for a while but knowing Bull he'd be super happy playing the way he is in a fantastic team, especially given the work he has had to do to get there.

Have to feel for a few of the Casey boys. With all those Melbourne players listed, and Hutchy back in the lineup if he is fit, you'd expect the I/C to be Filipovic, Hutchins, C. Wagner and either the Vice Captain Scott or Lewis who has been playing great footy. Meaning the likes of Lok, Munro and either Scott or Lewis to miss out. Otherwise that is a very strong lineup which will be needed to beat Williamstown in Williamstown. Should be a great game.

Just checking in on how everyone's doing. After starting the year strongly I've dropped to Overall Rank 4313 after a few poor weeks, but I'm pretty optimistic about where my team is sitting. Also because I love Bull and his Fantasy game is super strong right now take a look at these
