Love the Pod guys The forward mix is definitely an issue at the moment, luckily we have time to get it right. Do you think it's time to have a look at what Schache can offer? Personally I'd like to see Petty go back and see what a forward line of JVR, Schache & Gawn/Grundy looks like. Keep up the good work.

Happy to be corrected here but im not sure Petty was drafted as a forward. He played all his footy for SA as a defender in his U18 year.

Ok I'm just curious as to what Georgiades would be worth in terms of draft picks, a lot of ppl saying Port have got nothing to deal with when it comes to Pickett but I'm pretty sure if he chooses Port they'll find a way to get it done. It's my understanding they still have a future 1st up their sleeve too.

I don't think I'll ever see a new training facility, we just go round & round in circles. For as long as I remember a new option gets bought up every few years and nothing ever comes of it.

I'm going to contact the club it's just not good enough. I spent money on putting my daughter into before school care specifically so we could get into town early, then paid for an adult & child to travel from Carrum to Richmond and back, Petrol money from Balnarring to Carrum, 4 hours of wasted time. I'll be asking for a decent voucher from the Demon Shop.

Unbelievable, I just drove from Balnarring to Carrum station with my 4 year old boy and made our way into to Richmond for nothing. He's shattered & I'm fuming.

Petty trained with the backs. Just on Jefferson, he's a mile off. That's not a knock on him as he looks to have some nice attributes but he needs a couple of pre seasons to add some size.

Geez he looked good didn't he, I was up close to that sim and couldn't be more impressed. He's got a bit of a strut going already JVR.

Also FS prospect Kynan Brown was training and did quite well in the running drills.

As much as I hate to agree with Eddie McGuire he was spot on when he made a comment about why are we trying to squeeze into the sports precinct when Port Melbourne's ground is primed for a redevelopment. The old DHL factories next to the ground are as old as the hills and could make way for an elite facility. Port Melbourne would be a great location IMO.

Kate Roffey did an interview on SEN this morning and the last question she was asked was about the progress of a new training facility, her response was something about the challenge is trying to find a patch of grass in the city area. It sounded to me we were back at square one.
