  1. Weid can get his hands on the ball, which is the first requirement, unfortunately he can't hold his marks. He seems to me to have his palms both facing out in front of him, towards the ball and slaps at the ball instead of grabbing it. It will come together for him but it may be too late.
  2. Perhaps The Devil (Demon) Inside would have been appropriate
  3. In 50 years time they probably will be able to look back and remember it, unfortunately they probably won't be able to remember what they had for breakfast in the morning. The mind does that to you.😀
  4. I was at that game and we should have won by a street, but at that ground and with a strong wind that day, we struggled. We were kicking to the end where all the goals were kicked, so there was a certain inevitability about it, but it was very late in the quarter when he kicked the winning goal. He was also at the helm when we got rid of Woey and copped a lot of flack for that. But he was a very good person.
  5. I was 16 at the 64 GF and 12 at the 60 GF, people ask me why I missed the other finals and I remind them that it was very difficult to get tickets to a Grand Final in those days. Funnily enough, before the start of the season, a friend of mine got a football card with Tassie Johnson on it and gave it to me. We talked about Tassie, I knew he'd never seen him play so I told him how good he was. I put it on my desk and it still sits there now, I'm frightened to move it and he keeps reminding me to leave it exactly where it is.
  6. How do you get the replay on the AFL site? I can't see where it is, can you help?
  7. Maybe they should have a bbq out the front of the vaccine centres or perhaps convert Bunnings in to a centre. I've had both AZ jabs and felt nothing and had no after effects, same with the other staff in my office.
  8. There was a few of us who were keen, especially those that went to the pre-draft meeting that the club ran. We got to see footage that wasn't readily available and that JT and his department had. He looked sensational and it was obvious that he was going to be the goods but those there had to sign a confidentiality agreement so we couldn't disclose any of this. It was a certainty that we were going to take Kozzi as well.
  9. You believe what you want to and make up your own mind as to how much, not much is. I'm not playing silly games with you.
  10. https://www.abc.net.au/news/health/2021-07-05/astrazeneca-vaccine-timing-doses/100259926 "The data shows that if you do move things back to say, eight weeks, it's not a huge amount that you lose."
  11. The crazy woman in charge of the Health of all Queenslanders is the one with the gun.
  12. I believe the reduction in efficacy is about 1or 2 %, the opposite is far more dangerous.
  13. Actually you can reduce the time between jabs to 8 weeks, I did.
  14. AZ has been available by the truckload for a while and has also been available for those under 60 for a while. Andrews has been pushing AZ too, the only one who hasn't is that [censored] health advisor up in Qld and she changed her mind a day after saying she wouldn't allow it.
  15. I've had both my Covid shots as I'm sure that countless others on here have, I've had two negative tests and I'm prepared to have another three or four if needed. We should be allowed to go to see the Demons play in finals if we can show that we haven't got Covid and have been vaccinated, what is the reward if you are treated the same as those that refuse the vaccination or won't get tested. It's almost impossible to go to Perth because of the restrictions they have in place and if they are going to move it, I'd prefer Adelaide because we could get there earlier and isolate for maybe seven days. If we win I don't care how long they keep me over there,. I don't drink but I could learn.how to appreciate a glass or two if we won a flag.
  16. Thank god we don't have to play any bottom 6 clubs in the finals, they truely frighten me. My nightmare is we finish playing West Coast in the GF in Perth. Sorry, silly me, West Coast won't be there will they 😂
  17. I just hope we sign him up soon so we don't have to put up with 15 threads about when he's going back to WA. Not having a go at you sons but you know how the system works on here.
  18. Bloody hell, I thought we won today.
  19. Interesting Faulty, I went for a walk by the beach yesterday and today and there was a lot of Melbourne stuff being worn, I guess you aren't the only one who's not ashamed to be a Dees supporter now. Walked passed the butcher shop with my Dees hat on and got the big shout, Go Dees. For what it's worth, I think we will win the flag this year, at least.
  20. I've heard a few commentators say that Fritta is a star, I think it's only the MFC supporters that don't appreciate him.
  21. Great listening, I've never had a problem with Kane, he's always called it as it is and I'd rather hear the truth than someone just trying to appease.
  22. The only time I actually read anything of that poster is when someone responds to one of his posts and thankfully, that doesn't happen often, he's been one of the two on here that I've got on ignore.
  23. I've always been a fan of Tom and it pleases me no end to see him playing so well. Thanks to Goody for showing faith in him and turning his career around.
  24. Harrison Petty of the Melbourne Demons Career AFL Stats (footywire.com) He kicked 6 goals 5 behinds in 10 games in 2019 when he was 19, so he has some form up forward. He's going to be a very good player.
