Agree. What they should be looking at instead is the potential for that action to cause serious injury to the brain, not the outcome. If they are serious about thuggery and head clashes that's what they'll do, but it is the AFL, bunch of crooks.
  2. Nobody is laughing because he still hasn't won a brownlow! haha

How the hell did he even do that? lol
  4. I know a bloke who paid $6,000 for the 2016 GF ticket, he got to see his side win though.
  5. Yeah they say that every year but you never hear any stories (well I don't). I'll probably give them away anyway. Also, a Pie supporter is no friend of mine mate!
  6. Wheres Johnstone? Didnt play last week either & club website doesn't have him down as being injured? Edit: Misson report does, but website doesn't. I don't watch those videos, makes me too depressed watching Misson.
  7. He needs to turn his 1m handballs into 10-15m handballs and we'd be unbeatable.
  8. I'm surprised Goodwin hasn't rested him in the ruck yet
  9. Got 2 tickets to the GF a couple of months back, hopefully sell them to rabid Tiges mates for $5k a pop haha. Or even better, we make it there.

    Manipulation by umpires is why

Why the hell does Tom Hawkins smile and laugh so much after every goal he kicks? Bloody ridiculous, surely it's not that great an achievement Tommy

I now have 9th, need a good string of form, the Port and STK losses are going to be costly unless we have some upsets on the way home.
  13. I reckon when Nev starts to slow down he will slow down quickly, I hate saying it as he's one of my faves, but I don't think we will get 3-4 more out of him. But we need to replace Vince, Lewis and possibly Nev in coming years. May be draft/trade, may be promoting from within. If two of the 3 above go down, we need to start thinking about it. JKH may definitely not be THE answer, but if he cant play anywhere else, it may be worth a try. From memory he's a decent overhead mark and a reliable kick. It's just an idea.......
  14. Who else then? Dion Johnstone? lol
  15. Why confused? We need to develop someone, Dion Johnstone wont make it. I didnt say he would be a "good" replacement, I said handy, just throwing an idea out there. Who else on our list could do it? I didn't realise JKH was hated so much on Demonland, interesting reading.
  16. I'm kind of hoping JKH makes it, may be a handy replacement for Nev when he slows down. I'll wait and see how he performs v Dogs before I judge too harshly, has been a while between games so may have improved.
  17. Well they replaced Lever with Doedee easily enough so that's what they'd be thinking and licking their chops.

Oh well, Sloane will be available in 5 years so all is good

He's a star when on. I think we need to upgrade/consolidate our older players consistently. Beams>Vince for eg. I would say if he does come back he'll go to Collingwood but a name of interest.

OK, he is on the Brisbane website.
  21. They won't care, they get a bonus first round draft pick for free this year!

Did I hear a tweety bird say he wants to come back to Victoria? Is Brisbane's captain though and would be 29 at the start of next season. A star when on and unlucky with injuries.
  23. There's one from Essendon I wouldn't mind recruiting, think his name is Hind or similar? He looked quick

You don't (or won't) get many opportunities like this injury wise to have a serious crack at the flag, these opportunities won't be there forever. As with all sides, an injury to two key players like Gawn and Hogan could spell the end to a season. If the lads are serious, time to have a real crack, we can beat anyone including Richmond on our day.

So we don't get to hear "it's all about where you are at round 23" this year, bugger.
