What about the Round 1 selection debacle? Playing 3 key forwards? No Frost when Lever went down, how many games? There's a few in there, last year was worse.

How many games do people think we have lost in the last two years at the selection table? I see it mentioned a fair bit, curious to peoples thoughts. 5-10?

Wanted: The Hail Mary Kick-in with 1 minute to go
If the opposition analysis coach had done his homework, he would have picked up that Heeney going back as a loose man is quite common for Sydney. How we left him alone for so long is actually a joke. Once again Goody outcoached and slow to react.

His kicking routine is atrocious, he's been in the system long enough to sort this out, under pressure it will most always crack. The jog and stutter, ball swinging around in a circle from side to side, the right angles skip to the right before he kicks. He really needs a real coach to sort him out (Carey, Lockett, Dunstall etc). His attitude at times is also terrible, dropping his head and playing for frees. He's important to us if he can sort himself out, but he's not untradeable. If we got 2 x first rounders that netted Josh Kelly, I'd do it in a heartbeat.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Another thing is, Hogan seems to always have a niggle against good sides and then dominates against sides like GC.- Constant New threads
Haha, I'm logging off for a bit! lol- Farewell Jesse Hogan
@Clint Bizkit I saw you ask the question in another thread so thought I'd share here. Theres no doubt in my mind now after looking at the stats that Hogan is a flat track bully, rarely has a good game against better sides which is a concern. Hogan: Has kicked only 9 goals in 8 games vs the top 10 at an average of just 1.12 goals per game, being goalless twice and kicking 1 on 4 occasions. In contrast vs the bottom 8 he has kicked 38 goals in 12 games at an average of 3.16 per game. That is flat track territory and gives weight to those that are arguing this point. TMAC on the other hand this year missed a few games at the start but in his 4 games against the top 10 has booted 15 goals at an average of 3.75 per game and 27 goals in 11 games vs bottom 8 at 2.45 per game.- POST MATCH DISCUSSION - Round 21

He'll be fine next year and beyond, but at the moment he does one good tackle a game, misses plenty, gets pushed off the ball too easily and can barely kick over 35m. He's young, a good decision maker and will be fine in time.- Changes v West Coat - Round 22

Soft underbelly Front runners Bathwater No leaders Poor kicking into 50 Worst defence Laziness Swans 2 players down most of the game Aliir..... Skill errors Goodwins tactical nous Jones MIA again when heat is on in Melk, Out Spargo. Yips, 36% accuracy Lazy running Umpires? +17 i50's, Swans only had 43! There are times when a zone works and it doesn't work when teams chip it around and weave through the puzzle like Swans and Hawks. Goodwin should know this by now, go man on man. I always thought the Swans were a threat all along, still some fight in the old boxer yet. Jones, well, once again missing, his kicking is putrid and he looks so lazy and disinterested. While we had a shocker in front of goal, I'm glad Buddy did too. I think we'll beat WCE but we are a weak club who haven't beaten anyone of importance all year, that's the facts, not the spin. Swans wanted to play finals a lot more. All the best to Alex Johnson, heartbreaking story.
