  1. That was a one hundred point smashing. Dogs missed so many goals. A lot of young players out there who aren't really ready yet. We lack depth. I hope we don't go and get some more club rejects this off season. Didn't work last time. Our midfield was a shambles again. We have some serious problems and most of them are senior players who should be in their prime.
  2. Clarry has struggled all year. Last year Jack Viney stepped up. This year JV has been well down. Sparrow is ordinary always. Tracca out. Bang bang bang. And our fwd line with Petty at the helm for eighteen games gives us six goals. Bang. Lately we've seen our great backline throw in the towel. There is no premiership window.
  3. Fairly accurate assessment. I would say that Bowey played one of his better games for the year. Langdon was a bright light as well. Viney didn't look very enthusiastic and your right Kozzie look like he had checked out just like his two games prior. Not good at all. Anb struggled as did a few others. Chandler is way overated. Petty as a fwd averages one goal in just over three games. In what other team would he stay in that role week after week with that low scoring?
  4. Can't see a flag next year either I'm afraid.
  5. Fair call. We have fallen back to the old Mfc at the business end of this season. We saw signs of it earlier. And I thought many of our players were still in their prime this year. Nup. We have some great young players coming up at least
  6. Two more mids Another goal sneak Two solid tall fwds.
  7. Empires rise and fall. The dogs star has shone again. Maybe we will next year. Need some savvy recruiting this time in terms of second hand players. And a lot on our list need to pull their fingers out. And some good luck. Some big injuries this year and all the wrong times. We live in hope as Dees fans again I guess. This season can go and get .... Including the umps 2025 here we come.
  8. Thank you for calling it out. I'd add Billings to that. Done well with some youngsters but those others were way off.
  9. My poor son traveled 800 ks for his first game tonight. Thank you Mfc for turning him off footy. Or maybe into a dogs supporter.
  10. It is..... but it's definitely not going to happen tonight or again this year. We are done. Maybe twelwth spot finish this year. No more straight sets rubbish I suppose.
  11. As bad as the umps have been ...yep..we have been five times worse. We have no midfield It helps when you do. Remember when we played this mob in a gf three years ago? Seems like a decade and yet a lot of them are still out there getting pantsed. Make no mistake the score line doesn't count. We have been absolutely put to the sword tonight. This year.
  12. We smashed this team when we played them earlier. I know Tracca is out but is it that much of a difference?
  13. I think the dogs have shown us how to tackle and we have really put our bodies on the line far too often. I think it's a fair assessment. A few exceptions.
  14. Honest quote. Started with the Lions first game v us and cemented re Eagles and then Freo ( twice). We are lost. And sadly it's players like Oliver Viney Sparrow May Lever Salem Petty That give me pause. I'm worried for season 25.
  15. I was talking about season 25.
  16. Yes 2024 is done and dusted. What a great way to bow out. Absolutely smashed. We have given notice today that bruise free footy is well and truly back.
  17. Come Dees show some ticker. Show some pride on the colours.
  18. Why have we fumbled so much all night?
  19. Watching this makes me genuinely worried about 25. I mean we aren't missing that many players so it's a worry.
  20. Kozzies third game in three weeks he just hasn't turned up. Needs to do better but I guess he's not alone.
  21. That passage just comes up are slowness and half hearted attempts at spoiling. Jvr has no awareness of the ball upon landing to dogs goal. Bang.
  22. He can always come down the ground and have a crack. Maybe he hasn't been given licence but his three disposals don't sing his praises. We are still in this so we'll see what happens in the first ten of this second half.
  23. Even if it was that happens when umps refuse to reward our tackling.
