Not having a pot shot at you Rusty but its strange that this may actually happen. So many argued that Hibberd should not be called up. That he was too slow. Played like he had been playing all year.....was great from the get go compared to all the other inclusions. Deserves some praise. You obviously rate him too putting him on dusty.

Interesting they are boasting about their forward line. Sure its full of firepower but if Wied comes in after seven goals, tmac kerps firing and our smalls do well....ours aint too shabby.

Our mids were beaten for 3 qrts. Wont happen again Advantage us. Wied kicked seven in the reserves, adavantage us. Max in career best form, advantage us. Kozzie to play his best game ever, advantage us. Must be close to evens on game day but happy not to be faves. The media hasnt gone crazy about us thank goodness, but I imagine if we win, they will be all over us. When was the last time we were six nil? Its starting to get very very exciting especially with top players returning. I think this will be a close two or three goal win. Hopefully we are accurate.

Have been one of his biggests critis but Tom has been a gun this year. We would be 3 games down without him. Hes 28 and has at least 3 years left. Regardless, playing like he is no coach could drop him. Stats like 10 marks a game I reckon are pretty important. Could have had 2 more goals of players had missed his leads.

Watching the replay at lunch today it was bizarre jot having to drink and the fact that Lever saved a certain goal at around the 3 and a minutes left in the third and 30 secs later Hibberd did likewise. Score would have been Hawks a goal up. Then after Hawks scored first in the last it was only 4 points.... if you walked away in disgust and later saw the final score you would not have believed it. Our defenders especially Hiiberd who played his 1st game for the year were awesome. Max and also Tmac were such an integral part of that win. Tmac ran all day and was a marking machine. Tmac is running fast again. Our mids... Ill include Langdon... who lost most of the earlier centre clearances went to a new level especially Oliver who went to a new gear in the last. Anb, Gus and Jordan played very well in the last also. Pickett is still special. We must be quite fit because we ran circles around tgem in the last 14 mins adding 8 goals. And how nice when the umpiring goes our way. Ps at the 12.23 mark in tge final after Brown's 2nd the camera pans to Old Dee...or maybe old dee snr.?

At 5 zip and some great recruiting, then yes the club has proven they are a serious contender.

I was on the fence about him playing against Richmond. I dont believe he is in great form. When you point out how significant 300 games is and the likely effect it will have on him and his teamates then I understand why it is better to played against the tigers. From this perspective I conceed I was wrong. Im sure it will fire the boys up and especially Chunk. It actually could provide the extra motivation we need. Best of Luck. One thing for sure he does deserve to play out 300. Hope its 6 zip for him and he gets amongst the votes.
