  1. Looking at the Cats run home, I have a feeling they will be number one. Maybe us if we beat them at their home ground. The Lions have a pretty easy run home too. We have the toughest with eagles and cats away as well as the dogs I dont feel confident of securing top two but if we beat Cats and Dogs again I do . It would also give us all the confidence in the world come finals. As frustrating as losing to gws was, that Port win was outstanding and hopefully kept us in the final four. A draw from the first crows game would have been handy. Rotten maggots.
  2. At least its in our hands. They are very tough games on their home turf. We win those and we cement top spot I reckon. Hopefully Bb and Jack Viney are performing at their best soon. Would love to see us just bury a team by ten goals. Hawks game is our best chance.
  3. 23...12 frees against Swans.
  4. Would that be Port and Geelong?
  5. Given the Clearances to dogs and soft frees, they should be smashing it. Swans ball movement has been excellent and look like scoring everytime they go fwd. Swans defence solid too. Come on Swannies....keep us where we belong.
  6. Gee Swans could be a worry for some in finals.
  7. Jimmy Stynes. An absolute gentleman and wonderful person.
  8. Its always a very tough ask at their fortress. But we have done it before so heres hoping and lets hope we have a repeat of last time finals against them if we meet.
  9. Ten tackles from Vanders is suberb. I bet they all hurt too. If we play Port in the finals, Id like to see him play a Grinteresque cameo.? I really dont like that team. Well not so much the players but have developed a new found aversion to their derranged booing supporters. I know we are a civilised bunch here but seriously who boos every opposition kick at goal? Great sportsmanship.
  10. I so hope you are correct. I understand the club giving Weids a run and dropping Bb now although 3 games was not much of a run and he wasnt that bad imho. If he starts hitting his strude now and gets better each week we could be in a very good position come finals. In this game he did some good things without hitting the scoreboard but could have had two majors. If he gets back to his form of 2019....2018....2017 then we are in for a great ride with a fwd. Go BB. It wont just be a matter of freeing up other fwds and aiding our smalls. He used to win games off his own boot. He looked pretty fit and wasnt slow. Took a big hit early on and was none the worse. Such a safe pair of hands. With our fwd line struggling in a few games, an in form bb is a game changer. Go BB. Ps Great to see Tmac and Kozzie back to their best and our Mids Best to have a slump when we did and move on.?
  11. Was great against Port. Confident and clean at all times.
  12. I wish him all the best. Not really but I dont want to sound too spiteful.
  13. Given hes only played 3 senior games for the year, I would argue he was ok to good. Next game will be very interesting.
  14. Or Tmac gets penalised as a player falls over. Same happened with us and Brayshaw the commentator...correct call. I do detect some bias but who cares whrn we keep winning. Just makes it sweeter.
  15. Great to see a quick start. Intent and energy from the get go. Well done mids. Better fwd structure and delivery. Now just fix our kicking on goal including Oliver?
  16. Agreed. It was strange we thought we needed three talls and played Weid for five weeks only to drop him without a replacement. But Im glad common sense prevailed and bb is in. He could be a real Smokey leading up to the finsls. He seemed quite agile and fit and was stiff not being paid a coupke of marks. He hit up his targets too. Loved his post game interview.
  17. That was ports bihgest loss at their home ground this year. Love it. Cant wait to watch the replay. So sweet a win . ...out of or dlump. ...back to top four. ..fwd line much improved. ...Quick start .....portt fans with their incessant booing go home sobbing. What a mob of losers. No im not bitter?
  18. The srnse of entitlement of free kicks by port fans means it hapoens all too often or they just dont understand the rules or they are rubbish snd need help. I say sll three come into play.
  19. I think selection committe dropped the ball to be honest. How did it work out against gws again? There backline slaughtered us.
  20. Didnt kick a goal but we had less inside fifties to most of our games and did very well Bb clealy made a difference. Even small things like running down the clock at times He could well be the missing link and help us win a flag. Its early days but he moved well and clunked more than weid. Watch this space I reckon.
  21. No change but i wish we had made some for the gws game. Live and learn.
  22. Port fans derranged. Umpiting very suspect. Great team effort. Best win yet.
  23. So difficult. A great team effort. Sorry for the cop out. It was just balanced. Even viney was ok Trac Oliver May Tmac Petty Kozzie
