GTfU? Get a grip. Complaining about umps is a national pass time. And rightly so. Have you never questioned an umpires call? Umps are human and often get duped by players and crowds. So it's frustrating. To say they never make a difference is akin to saying why have them. It's silly. Many matches have been decided by bad calls.

In hindsight I should have known this would have been a tough game. Viney and Fritta playing their first games after injury meant they would struggle. No May and no kossie. It's not an excuse but the umpiring WAS putrid. Lions players milked frees and got two gimmees directly in front of goal.

I think it's a case of us really only having 3 or 4 players performing. Harmes anb spargo langdon and melksham...all veterans have been lacklustre. Just one of those nights. Grundy ground level skills are good but his taps have rarely hit anyone but more concerning is has taken zero marks.
