  1. They may have been slow out of the blocks but I have a sense the Lions are going to just coast in.
  2. The umps are really hopeless.
  3. That was just shocking umpiring. Just a gimmee.
  4. You just knew it. Soft free 10 m out 3 mins in. Geez.
  5. And q the filth fans booing Neale. Not a big enough prison for them I guess
  6. Maynard in there visualising his first hit.
  7. Darcy Moore always looks a tad crazy before games.
  8. Fair to say it applies to all of us today. It's up to the lions to stop us getting too hammered.
  9. Should I save time and boo the umps now?
  10. Cameron doesn't mind the dry conditions too. Loves playing the filth as well.
  11. They were good but the afl really try's to make it the superb owl. Stupid auto correct....superbowl. I'd prefer Hunters or Aussie crawl. The game stands on its own without a Us import for entertainment.
  12. Yea play a local act and take 50 bucks off everyone's tickets. Enough to buy 2 extra beers. Or buy some new goal cameras.
  13. Leave Mr loaf alone. He was a true rock and roll icon who lost his voice. It happens.
  14. Even kiss with their black and white costumes... it's a bloody conspiracy.
  15. How much do you reckon they were paid? It's been quite guarded
  16. Now there's a lot more things to football....... There are days when you could give it up
  17. Mike Brady is on a good wicket working 3 mins a year.
  18. I wonder if Schache , tmac and bbb should have been kept on. Thankfully our backline is in good shape but we need a lot more depth elsewhere.
  19. The biggest one was a five gamer kid all of which weren't stand outs in Laurie the sub in tge qf. Goody wasn't prepared to play him all game but it happens and it exposed a very, very poor decision. Why pick a very inexperienced kid in a qf fgs?
  20. They really are a despicable bunch. Players and supporters.
  21. I thought Grundys tap work and efforts below his knees were very good. There is a very glaring downside to him though.....He can't mark to save himself. A very important skill for any ruckman. See ya Grundy.
  22. Maybe him getting hurt in a very nasty footy act brings some overdue change though.
  23. The media's orgasmic response to the filth in a granny is strange. One would think it was 57 years since their last and not a paltry 13. Watch the filth fans boo Neale today. Like it was his fault. Dirty club. Dishonest players. Filthy fans. One can only hope they lose today. A small degree of joy in that at least. Watch the umps try and spoil it though.
  24. None as far as I can tell. Strange. The writing was on the wall. Tmac had a very average finish in season 21. 22 saw him all over the place but he wasn't right to play finals. Bbb did and was and wasn't sighted. This year it was reversed with Tmac playing finals and having no impact. Maybe the club thought Grundy would make up for them both but that didn't work. At the end of the day the club didn't really do anything to find a replacement for either of these two when problems arose over 24 months ago. Some will argue there was nobody to recruit but there must have been someone. Even if they had to look outside the league. The club got it wrong. Our fwd line failed in all four finals. Big time . And the absence and or poor performance of both of these players was a significant part of that failure.
