May to Tribunal
I still fondly recall the Jvr incident and all the support here that night. I think there were seriously over two hundred Demonlanders lurking here. I sat down listening to some posts from the expert witnesses and their outrageous qualifications and computer modeling. It was one for the ages and my selection of cheeses and fine wines made it for a most memorable moment. The deliberations took hours and hours. I swear those at the tribunal were going through the all you could eat buffet. But it was great to see so many Demonlanders with a cornucopia of funny names Id never heard of. Alas after quaffing so much Penfolds I can't even recall if he was acquitted but it was the camaraderie that made it all so special. And of course the vino. Give em hell Maysie. Perhaps one last hurrah by running through the tribunal judges with an elbow tucked in just right so that it is the perfect footy act. And see how well they can then hold down there roast beef and prawn salads. And if the worst should transpire and the three weeks stands you can always just tell them you've retired effective immediately just to take the glee out of their sales. And then sign up next year. Never forget that they work for the AFL and are all as crooked as hell. More so than those me maggots masquerading as umpires these days. Lower than cockroaches and probably just as dirty. There i actually feel a little better. Hang on. Did I memtion that umpires are only put there because society understands they are not fit for any other role. And that they make up the rules as they go along. Yep now I feel better. Maybe some more Penfolds. This is what they do to me. Thank you. Go Maysie.

My 3 word player analysis V StKilda
Yes you can probably tell I'm angry Tracca and Oliver were pretty good yesterday. Well Tracca was. Except CP showed his significant problems with kicking goals. Again. They both did and they cost us the game with their inaccuracy once again. Tracc is probably one of the worst in the comp. Certainly at the MFC. It's is a shocking part of his game and ai feel because of this he is overated. Imagine if he could finish all his good work off and score more frequently. Oliver isn't great either. This led me to looking at most of our players in this area. I was shocked to discover that Oliver only manages an average of only one goal every five games he plays. That's pretty damning. Yes despite both dropping in form the last couple of years .....these two have been prolific ball winners. But kicking goals is important for midfielders and these two have struggled big time. Max struggles too. As do quite a few other non fwds. This all means extra pressure for our fwds to kick more goals. And they have been struggling for a long time doing this. In 2021 we had a plethora of players kicking over 20 goals for the season. Including smalls like Spargo and Anb. Now our leading forwards are struggling to manage over 20 for the year. Doesn't matter how good our backline is, if we don't kick goals we don't win. So as bad as it is with our failing fwd line in the last few years it's been made worse by all our other non fwds not contributing. And when they do...they usually miss. Then we have the issue of Petty. He's our tallest forward and has had the job for a full two years. He averages under a goal a game or under 20 a year. He's our best tall forward. That alone reveals a lot. How are you going to win games when your best tall fwd can hardly manage to get on the Coleman board. And that position call has been well and truly driven by Goody I have no idea why he's been hell bent on playing him there but it's now almost comical except we now hold yesterdays embarrassing record. Something I hope brings about Goody s exit from the club But that would involve someone having to make a decision so it probably won't happen. He'll probably be there next year when we hobble together another six or seven wins and then the club decides to do something about the membership drop off and complaining from supporters. But that will be three years too many. With too much damage and exodus of good players. Well for me if Goody is there next year the club won't get a cent from me and not will I go to any games. I know that doesn't help but I can't support the club in any fashion with SG at the helm. I can be as stubborn as him. It's a shame he won't resign and will eventually be sacked. I would like to hear about his learnings in his sacking press conference. Anyway, we lost to St kilda in Nt not long ago due to laziness and terrible kicking. Yesterday while our kicking was better we still missed too many easy shots. As mentioned by Oliver and Tracc missing two absolute sodas that would have sealed it. And Petty kicked zero goals once again. And laid two whole tackles. Compare that to Viney who kicked a goal and managed to lay 17 tackles. Petty garnished his usual tally of five disposals but I guarantee you, he will line up again next week. Same with players like Sparrow. But with Petty being given chance after chance for two whole years just doesn't add up. What's going on? Why is Goody so stubborn about all this and call the experiment dead. In fact it died 18 months ago and will not be resurrected. How can I support the club when this keeps going on? I can't. And I have a feeling I'm certainly not alone in feeling this way. I just hope that we all join together and send the club a message by not going to games and not taking out new memberships. Unfortunately it's up to those who care the most. And yes it will be tough but it will definitely be for the best. SG is not the coach to lead this club anymore. Our lack of fwds, our playing blokes out of position, failure to make changes during games....like when the Saints kicked three in a row, gifting games continuously and failure to fix our goal kicking is just way too much for way too long. #Goodyneedstogo.

- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Oliver never scores any goals. Tracca is an atrocious set shot. They are so overated now. It was Viney who stood out today. Tracca lacks fitness and is slowing big time. Oliver just throws the ball on his boot without looking. Salem too has joined them. And our leadership down back today was totally missing. And for the 50 th time....Petty ain't a forward Simon You need to learn this. Why can't you accept it and move on. Just why?- Time to go Goody?
The stubbornness of Goody playing Petty fwd for two years now is mind blowing. Week after week and month after month we've all called it out. But nup. Goody just keeps doubling down. I hope today he's doubled down on a new job at McDonald's.- Time to go Goody?
You won't be alone And it probably needs to be done by us all. Then the club will have to listen. It's the one real thing that will.make them do something. I think Goody must know his time is up. He froze again today and did nothing to stop the rot. Fritta had clearly disappeared from the game at half time. He could have.moved KP up fwd rather than having him and Melksham on the bench for the last 3 minutes. Disgraceful. Vote with your money/ membership. It's the best way to.make them do something.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Tracca and Oliver were a huge reason we one a flag in 2021. They have been touted at times as being the best midfield duo about. And they have been. But lately I've been lamenting on a glaring weakness in their games. They are both terrible kicks at goal. They missed some sitters today that cost us a horrible record to hold. But it's not a new thing. They have always been terrible. Their now long career stats reveal that Tracca has averaged just under one goal a game for his entire career. And Oliver kicks an average of ONE goal for every FIVE games. Yep you read that correctly. Surely goal kicking is big test of a good mid. Perhaps they are overrated.- Time to go Goody?
He could have left graciously. But he's now set himself up for a showdown where he will be sacked. It's just a question of when not if. Hopefully for the club it's now and not this time next year. But you never know with this club. Today he showed how stuck he gets. He truly does nothing and just sat on his hands watching that record get broken today. Shame on you Simon What an albatross to hang around the clubs neck. Leaving Kozzie and Melksham on the bench for the last three minutes so your love children Petty and Sparrow can do nothing says it all. You were frozen solid today. And yes our behind tally was once again so much higher than our opponents. Just leave. Do the right thing. Your the coach. It's on you mate.- My 3 word player analysis V StKilda
Melksham.....not really involved. Fritta.... disappeared for half. Chandler......played a pearler. Tracca.....can't kick goals. Oliver....see Christian Petracca. Goody...... caught sleeping soundly. Goody...loves Harrison Petty. Petty.....worst forward ever. Goody.....deer in headlights. Petty...... can't kick goals. Goody......needs to go. Goody..... Just too stubborn. Viney......gave absolutely everything. Sparrow.....100 th gifted game. Mcvee.....lost it today. Bowser.....an absolute gun. Jvr...... struggled a lot Goody... Surely it's over- Time to go Goody?
Can the club please explain why our head coach now holds the embarrassing record for being beaten in a game with the highest lead at three quarter time? Why we seem to moving so far away from 2021 to the dark ages again? Why Simon Goodwin has played Petty forward for two years when he's failed so much in that role? Why KP and Melksham were on the bench for the last three minutes? Why Goodwin made no changes after st Kilda kicked the first three in around three minutes? Why he made no changes at all? Why we had once more had so many more behinds? Why he is still our coach now? I think as members we deserve answers to these questions after such a history making loss.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
The bias commentary on Fox was pox. As were we. Please retire off Goody. Saints kick the first three in a few minutes and Goody is a deer in headlights. And once again poor kicking has cost us.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Let's just hope that was the catalyst for the sacking of Goody His insistence in Playing Petty forward for two years has cost us dearly. Being caught out wot game winners Melksham and KP on the bench for the last three mins was on him as well. He needs to go pronto. Also got an apparent couple of gun.midfoeldets in Tracc and Oliver...the two of them hardly ever contribute to our goal tally. Hardly ever at all. What's all that about? Anyway see ya Simon. Tx for the memories but if you are there next I suggest we all are not. .- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Ok let's just move Kozzie to ff and enjoy the show.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Let's hope scientists get their priorities correct when they can finally clone a man and make a couple of dozen Maxys.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
And you don't break a JV tackle.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Jack Viney..13 tackles.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Chins best game for the year. Been quiet the last ten but that goal was gold.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Petty having a purple patch this quarter with two possessions. Watch out.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Viney has been a ball magnet today. Been a major difference with his see ball get ball game. And unlike some others lowers his eyes and hits up a teammate more often than not.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Why is Tracc complaining. Learn to kick straight. Here comes Kozzie- May to Tribunal
Just watched it in slow mo from every angle. If that's the benchmark for three weeks then we are realistically looking at not a few players being rubbed out for nine to twelve on a regular basis. Absolutely ridiculous. What gives AFL. Why the inconsistency? That's a fine or week at worse. Nup. It's a fine. And there certainly wasn't intent. Were it so the bloke would have been knocked out.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
I think Jeffo was hard done by being dropped. Wasn't fantastic but last week was his best game in an upward trajectory of form albeit the smallest of increments. But way to kill the kids fragile confidence. And you know where I stand on Petty.- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
That's harsh. I think he's always shown much more intent and effort than SW but his soft hands now are killing him. He used to be better. He either improves soon or goes the way of SW. He's lucky there isn't anyone breaking down the door. Playing him in the ruck probably hasn't helped but truth be told often the reason he gets games. He and Jeffo are a big concern given how much we have invested in them. I just hope we go on a serious spending spree soon and move heaven and earth to secure some experienced big bodied fwds .- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
How long has Fritta been on the bench? He is in terms of speed, strength and leap. But he's just not holding any of his marks. If he fixed this he would be well worth having. - Boycott next week
