  1. Bloody hell. I've heard they can be nasty. Lots of prednisolone I'm guessing. Your poor thing. Get well soon WcW.
  2. For sure Big kev. He's well spoken with wonderful hair but he will certainly give you something to remember the game by. And probably smile while he does it. All round class is our Jack. Love his work.
  3. Hmmm, Look deep one must.
  4. Soccer hooligans go away.
  5. We will soon find out. Pp was dealt with properly although I'm not sure why they deliberated so long for. I hope this is sorted out pronto. Keep handing out minimum four week bans and players will soon start to behave. This warrants more than four for me. ( As was the Maynard hit).
  6. Trying to think of a recent tough guy. Vanders maybe?
  7. Last time we met, Milkshake was playing out of his skin. Losing him set the tone for our finals. I hope we put them in their place again for pretending to be a chance in 2022. We have quite a few out since our last meeting but they have Grundy so it all balances out.
  8. Yes until I physically hear the rattle, I must persist in my ride of Freo despite the attraction of jumping aboard the Swans As a small child I was once attacked by a large Swan so their definitely tempting.
  9. I'm sure they'll find some pseudo muck somewhere. Don't forget that they are professionals.
  10. Says me who spells weight incorrectly.
  11. Is it chomping?( from horses) I Your right....Im betting autocorrect here as champing is also used. Not sure if I spelt that correct though. And yes Deezone, I'm so excited footy is back. Seems like eons ago, last season.
  12. You really turned me on the bump issue. I guess footy for me has always had an element of blood lust about it. I started following in the dirty days of the 70s so I've seen a bit of biffo. But lately and hopefully older and wiser.... ( my young 19 yo son plays basketball) ..I would hate to see him in trouble. And since it's not my head on the "chopping block" who am I to expect others to do so. But when you call it out for what it is as brain trauma it really makes you think. A dear family friend of ours in her early 20s who played aflw with a history of concussions can now no longer play. She has been devastated by this loss of livelihood and passion. Will we miss the bump. Maybe . But footy will survive and will still be a wonderful sport to watch. Well called.
  13. Chin was ok in the practice match for me. When he came in last year, he looked like a gun. It's been a while though since we've seen that form. He will be struggling to get a game this year of he doesn't lift. Some great new talent competing for his spot.
  14. Probably the around about that round.
  15. Travis Johnstone equals a young Caleb Windsor. I'm guessing that's where you are going. I think a few noticed. Is Salo in the middle a lock for the season? Looking forward to the podcasts again.
  16. I thought Bowey was back to his best. Gee we were quick at times. Young Windsor's legs hardly seem to be moving but he just steals away from other players. Salo in the middle is a lock for me. Well played Goodwin. Maybe if Clarry plays, Tracc can go fwd. We will miss Kozzie who played a ripper. His tackling and pressure doesn't stop. It's the sort of game I always hope he delivers. I know he's been around a few years but maybe this is the season we see the star quality in him(consistently) Max is like a good vintage red. I was very impressed with Jvr who showed Curnow up. He doesn't look huge but he times his leap perfectly. I don't want him in the ruck. He is a natural fwd. Preferably a chf. Do we keep Schacke at FF until someone else is fit? When is Fullerton ready to help out Max? Great to see Sparrow play like he did. I've always thought of him as a Petracca 2.0 but he needs to keep stringing together some more games like this. Viney. Just a rock solid leader who gives his all and shows no signs of aging. We have a great influx of young talent coming up so goodbye to those who have said goodbye to our premiership window. And as I said before if you believe the narrative that we are on the way out, then I feel really sorry for Carlton supporters. Yes it's only a practice match. But Carlton were a team that almost made the grand final last year so it must count for something. Personally I think we beat them by a lot more. Once again our kicking at goal at times was wayward. But praise must be given for our bullet like and accurate i50 kicks and corresponding marks. Despite his poor goal shooting, Fritta looked like he was over his foot injuries and moving very well. Billings is a great addition to the team and he proved it last night. There's no four points but for a practice game it's the next best thing. Go Dee's.
  17. If the narrative of us of being finished is true, you would not want to be a Blues fan.
  18. You can't doubt Kozzies work rate.
