Up here in Nsw there's a touch of Spring in the air. It's not just the weather its the fact that MFC is an inch away from playing finals after a long long time. Kinda feels like Grand Final week. I don't know what I'll do to be honest. It feels a little surreal. Dare we dream again?

Nothing to do with footy but It's great when your 12 year old son discovers movies like Airplane, blazing sadles and police academy. Gives you an excuse to watch them again and see your kid laugh out loud. Its a nice stress release from watching these close ones.

There were a few players who did very little but the Lions played above themselves and full credit to a couple of players who were great at the stoppages. On the whole we were pretty good .... we didnt make the most of all our entries. Missed a couple of set shots and went to sleep when five goals up in the last. That said the pies when on are bloody good and will be a challenge if we don't bring our best. At least its in our hands to reach finals and lets hope that's enough to make us excel. Hopefully, Jesse and Pedo can continue their stellar efforts and Garlett can improve. At least our fwd line is working again.

Trac was down for a while in the last but seemed ok. Hope not. We have had more than our fair share this year.

Everyone screaming to play Tigers but boy they looked menacing against Freo. I didnt have them pegged to play so well after last year. Biggest improvers by far. Either option will be tough but we seem to have Tigers measure on more than one time which is more than Swans of late.

Shame on MFC for being him being overlooked earlier this year. So many were calling it. He has developed late but what development it is. This guy is the definition of intensity and effort. Pay attention Jw and a few others. If his form continues and Jeffy and Watts play their best it's a forward line that is very dangerous if we play finals.

Probably best if we all just put this game behind us now. We are a chance to play finals if we win just one more game. That's all.

Wasnt really surprised by his bag today. (was very happy for him though.) He flies under the radar. Last year we saw what he could do and expected a breakout year this one. But health and other issues saw him sidelined. The media have forgotten what a true star he is.
