Suburban AFL map
Has there been a survey why we all follow the mighty Mfc? I suspect like me, most of us do under the said supporter father son rule and to be honest during our dark days, I think I may have resented my old man for following them. Sorry. All is forgiven. Tx dad. Tx Dees. Just wish I could have shared 21 with him.

It must have been so tribal in the very early days and probably up to the 70s perhaps. In the lead up to a granny in the goid ol days some streets in some burbs would have houses adjourned in club colours. It was very parochial and players were paid didley squat. A plumber would be installing your new stove Friday am and playing Senior Vfl the next arvo. How long ago it all seems. Still as interesting as it all was, it's nice to have a national comp with footy on tap 4 days a week.

I like Petty up forward but Tmac played a ripper at Casey and seems to have his confidence back. When fit and firing Tmac is a classic " bollocking " chf that crashes packs and can amass a bag of marks. He is also a dead eye shot on goal....both snaps and set. Bbb is a proven leading goal scorer who has already kicked 9 for the season including a game he was taken off early. I think that they will both be a big part of our flag success this year.

Iām not posting during games any more!
I have a mild mannered Aunty in her 80s who turns into the hulk at the footy. She's a swans supporter but certainly gets her monies worth at a game. We always joke that we can hear her from the opposite side of the ground.

We've all done it. Just proves your passion for the game mate and this post...your love of the club. Go Dees.

Watched the replay. The first quarter was strange. We lost 7 centre clearances in a row but kicked 6 more goals. We have the best defenders in the comp. JL on track for clubs b and f. Rivers is back to his best. Bowey still playing like a 100 gamer. McVee is a nice surprise and all is right in the world with Maysie back in. And to think we are missing one of the best defenders in Salem.

I really hope Hibbo gets up. He's still a quality player.

Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
Gee that's tough. I wish I could remember more often not to get caught up in the emotion of a game and not bag players. At least not ours. I know many posters think Lj did our club wrong and maybe he did but gee what a lot of pressure some of them are under. I think what happened to Watts was really rough and the guy did incredibly well to weather all the critics. Yea they get big bucks but I'm sure it's tough for them to be under so much scrutiny. I really hope Kozzie stays with us during our so called flag window of the next 3 to 4 years. Yep, he has the chance to go home and be part of the collective blame for a clubs failings or in later decades say ....yea I was a part of that Demon Dynasty of three premierships. Looking forward to seeing him play this weekend.

Tx JJR He's the same height as Maysie. If the article I read was correct and he's already 96kegs @ 19 then he might bulk up to May's 101. The strength of May was shown in that tackle he made that stopped the swans player cold. Hopefully Jvr will have the same.- Goal kicking accuracy 2023
Your right, his set shots are good. I'm not sure if I'm thinking of his early day snaps but I don't think they were great. I might be wrong.- Goal kicking accuracy 2023
It's been an issue somewhat but Jvr seems to be following the skill of Fritta and Tmac what are very accurate. Spargs too is accurate and several including Anb, Oliver and Max seem to have really improved. Chandler who looked bad in the praccy games was very good.- Goal kicking accuracy 2023
And a shout out to the cheer squad member who holds up the bullseye.- Goal kicking accuracy 2023
Tx coach.- Jake Lever on 2022 finals injury
Just goes to show you can train them, coach them, rest them but a lot depends on the planets aligning to win a flag. However having the depth we have now we seem to be able to cover some significant players including Maxie.- Thank you to Claremont & East Fremantle
Yep and credit to the club for not rushing him. Footywire which probably accumulates its info from the mfc website has him listed at 193cm and 93kgs. Bit I read an article that said he was 96kg. He will probably fill out some more and crash packs wide open.- Analysis of the Demonās Forward Line
Some posters pretty harsh on Bbb. He didn't have a great day against the Swans but had averaged 4 goals a game coming in. Yes it's a small sample but if he's not injured, must play.- PREGAME: Rd 04 vs West Coast
