  1. I just want to hear the alarms sounded if flag faves lose three on the trot.
  2. So if Oliver comes back and he and Viney are in top top form, does Trac do a Dusty and play fwd in all the finals?
  3. Good post Dd. With Viney playing so well and Trac back in ,I wouldn't be surprised if come finals Trac could spend a lot of time forward. Grundy worries me too. I hope he clicks up forward.
  4. It's going to be a finals type of game. I think we have enough talent and drive to put their streak to an end. But it's a nervous wait for me. Not only will it help cement second spot but will help quell all the media noise that the blues are a real chance for the flag. It must be done.
  5. As good as clarry is, it would be super hard for anyone to be close to their best after missing over ten rounds. The good news is at 75% he's still an asset. Hope Fritta comes back in soon.
  6. This. Lol. Kozzie to kill their hope again.
  7. For some reasons it's the in form teams we play our best. Back a the G and under lights with a good crowd. Oliver back. We won't start like last week.
  8. So it's the clash of fashionable fans this weekend.
  9. And the fact that gws and gold coast only have one supporter.
  10. I'm not sure Smith will get the gig over Grundy. Smith has a great leap but we would be lacking in height. Even though Grundy isn't the best mark ( gee Petty was good) , be will get the ball to ground and or smalls who are in good nick will get to work. It's a big blow but as others have astutely mentioned Petty really only played two successful games fwd. Maybe Bbb will return but he looked injured. Let's just hope Oliver and Fritta get back in asap. Gee 21 was a dream run with limited injuries.
  11. So annoyed about this injury. Sadly it was our forward line about this time last year that fell apart. It was non existent in the two finals we lost. Maybe Grundy will surprise us or some other miracle will transpire. At least our smalls are all firing. We will need them.
  12. Can only be him or Smith. I reckon. You are on the money.
  13. But probably three of our best six
  14. Your my new best friend I'm playing on going with a mate who goes for Sydney. Last time we went and Dees won it was a quiet trip home. Was hard not to gloat
  15. Gotta say that Carlton have a pretty good fixture with 17 games at Marvel or the G.
  16. Fritta has it down in spades and a great example of this. He's not the strongest or biggest player by any stretch but uses his balance and timing to lean into opponents to move them out of the way or to propel himself into the right spot.
  17. Carlton storming home with seven wins on the trot. It's a good effort. Despite Petty going down I think we will still win. It's back at the Mcg which is good news for us. Hopefully Oliver will return and this will bolster morale. How much of an influence he has will be very interesting after such a long absence but he is a superstar so there's that. I think Goody will give Grundy a shot up forward although I'm not sure he's the man for the job. It's more a case of last man standing at this point in time. Milk was quiet against North, so I'm hoping he bounces back big time. I'm glad that Our smalls have hit some great form of late. Grundy isn't a good mark like Petty but he's tall enough to make a good contest so Kozzie and co can do their thing. It will be a tough game and we certainly can't come out again like we did against North. It's a toss up between Harmes or JJ for Oliver. Should be a ripper.
  18. Has Dustan played in the Seniors at all this year? I know he's been injured but from the dland reviews of games he's played at Casey, it sounds like he's up to it.
  19. It's a concern that a few of our talls are having injuries and are towards the end of their career. Tmac and Bbb are the obvious ones. But May is getting on in years. We need to be very focused on recruitment of some young talent and maybe some established players circa 25 years of age. I,d argue we need two tall defenders and two tall forwards.
  20. Given his family's connection and history with the CFC , I'm really surprised he would leave. But I guess you never know. Ablett junior left Geelong. I think recruiting an established somewhat mature player is a good idea but perhaps not Silvagni . Thanks Hawny for Gawny.
  21. We should have never started this thread.
  22. I guess we still kicked 100 plus with our talls and Milk not kicking bags
