Good news week (positive news only)
I would say pound for pound he would be one of the strongest players about. He just shakes tackles off and that goal of his was a perfect example.

ASIC disqualifies Joseph Gutnick for four years
Had a real estate dealing with him once. He was a tough negotiator. I did admire his commitment to his beliefs but felt sorry that he couldn't attend games on his Sabbath. His business dealings may not have been kosher but as others have pointed out, did some good things for the club. The Bentleigh club wasa good investment and I still have some fond memories watching games there.

I'd recruit him just because of his name. They dont get much cooler.

Good news week (positive news only)
Yes good point D17. I was surprised how their depleted midfield performed. Looking on the upside as bad as we played in patches we were in front at the 3 quarter mark and could have taken the chocolates.

Good news week (positive news only)
Tommo was good v Swan's. Clarry so much better for the game time. Jv in beast mode first game. May in good touch. We need a few like Lever, Rivers, Anb and Langers to find their old form. Salo in the middle is good but not sure if he has the strength for the whole game. Perhaps Kozzie will rotate with him. Someone other than Scache up fwd and we will improve.

Good news week (positive news only)
I think your spot on about Sydney. I think they are very good team. They knocked us out us in 22 and have drafted very well since. We beat them up there last year with a much better fwd line with milkshake in great form. Our fwd line is totally missing and selection wasn't great. We just need a couple of talls back and several of our known players to lift.

Least it's not Essendon.

My parents were wonderful. They would load my kids up with as many sugar treats as possible all day and then hand them back over around dinner time. Oh what happy memories.

2024 Injury List
Chandler needs to show some of that great footy he played early in the season last year. He's got the talent but something's off kilter.

Good news week (positive news only)
Well done Spirit of Norm Smith. Yes, it's time to reset. Its always a tough gig up there. Made harder by Sydney's history in the game and record crowd. We will respond. Also I think clubs having a game up their sleeve have an advantage over the other first gamers this round. ( Whatever it's called).

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
It's was always going to be a tough slog up at the Scg. We will improve with some necessary outs and hopefully get our first win. We have a tough draw this start to the season. We need some key players back asap. Oliver will be better for the run too. Great to see JV playing so well. Kozzie back. Hopefully Fullerton is up and about too.

The Premiership Window Closing?
I feel that he's on shifting ground at the minute. A failure to make finals and win at least one is the litmus test for me. He's been making some strange selections and isn't proactive enough on game days. He's a premiership coach but how much currency does that give him? Maybe I'm being harsh but I feel like his selections in last year's finals may have cost us a gf birth. It's a tough call.

Sam Van Rooyen in for Ben Brown on LTI?
I know it's a long shot but maybe worta crack. He was moving pretty well against Sydney in our top ten. Jvr can't be our only tall.

Sam Van Rooyen in for Ben Brown on LTI?
Won't happen. Nor should it. I hope Fullerton is up and about asap Bbb for Schache but it's the deck chairs again for me. Maybe Tmac down back of Bbb out and Tommo up fwd. Have to try something. I don't want Shache in again. And Tommo was one of our better players v Swans. Surely he couldn't be any worse.

Good question. Catches win matches. Sydney 96. Us 62.
