  1. I know I'm paranoid but I swear my phone's spying on me. I'm getting an unusual amount of adds on this site for the man shake. Tx a lot you insensitive operating system.
  2. Would like to see Rivers in the middle as much as possible this year.
  3. Tx Binners. I just checked Tab and your not far from the mark. 1.55 to make finals. Equal with Carlton in fourth spot to be final four at $3. Equal with Carlton in fourth spot to win flag at $ 9.
  4. Ooh ouch they are playing rough. That my heart will go on song is very nasty. I'd try something like this to warm them up until we can all agree on what will really send them over the edge.
  5. He's a great reason to be excited about this years footy. A fit forward line of Petty, Fritta and a Jvr will be dynamite I reckon.
  6. Thanks LG That's a new word for moi. And a very funny one. Although I suspect not so much for the suspect.
  7. Would love to see a fit Petty playing forward all year.
  8. When he's on he's electric. Hope to see some more consistentency this year. Exciting player.
  9. Thanks L G The big take away from last year was we almost made it with a plethora of injuries. I'm confident we will be top four again this year as well.
  10. Not to take anything away from our sublime 2021 flag but it's now Sixty years since we have won a granny at our home ground. Let's hope after dropping out in straight sets two years in a row we can win this year. I dearly want to be able to attend a grand final with us winning. Do most of us think we will be in the mix again?
  11. Quiet season for Spargo. Hoping he gets back to his best in 24. Actually Kozzie and Anb had quiet ones as well. Chandler started in a fanfare and disappeared. Kozzie still scored goals but didn't seem to impact games like last year. But back to Spargo, I will say he always finds a teammate with his pin point disposals.
  12. Brian Wilson was one of my favorite players. Those other names were more than handy too.
  13. Interesting choice of best. It accounts for quite a bit In the backline Salem returned on a blaze of glory and then quickly faded away. Tommo was short changed in terms of selection ......big time. Oliver, Langdon and Hunter all had very much less than stellar seasons. No arguments about that. Then we have Petty and Fritta' struggling big time with significant foot injuries. Anb was down on form as was Kozzie.so in the scheme of things it really was an incredible effort that we did so well.
  14. Yes. Quite Ironic. Many believed that the return of Barassi would herald a new dawn.
  15. Guessing you caught the Shiraz though Uncle.
  16. As long as you whispered " go Dees" to them all day it will have been more than worth it.
  17. Humbug Who gets a tattoo sober?
  18. Nice words mate. Straight back to you Merry Christmas and best wishes to you and all the all the other good people on this good site. Hell tis the season.... even to the tossers here who have given me the facepalm emoji over the year. All the best.
  19. After the passion has cooled, we did pretty well given all our fwd line injuries.
  20. From the old French..... sorcerer. Perhaps to put under a spell.
  21. Never understood why we didn't keep Hore. Glad he's back. Thanks PickettFence.
  22. I hope he has 22 sons.
  23. Bonus points for using the word ensorcelled.
