There is a good opportunity. for the dees to get a third pick in the first round, Sydney do not want to bottom out they cant afford to. they will give up their frist pick and second pick for ready made players, i think a good trade would be miller and green, and rivers for sydney's first three picks in the draft. if they will take all three they will least take up one of those offers

IF you got rid of the pp there will be no tanking because there is no difference between 1st pick and second just look at how many 1st picks have been superstars compared with pick number 2 not many anyone of the first 5 picks in a draft can became a superstar is judd a number one pick no is salwood a number 1 pick no is buddy a number one pick. no these three players are in the top 10 players in the afl and all three are picks 3,5,7, in there own draft. So history tells as there is no difference the pp is a big advantage as it gives a club two picks in the top 5 now that is a to big of a carrot. now the afl wont get rid of the pp because of the two new teams if they fail in there first two seasons then they will get the pp.

I went to The pub to watch that game and i knew we where going to lose it in the last qtr. Now i was very upset, and i would like every other member to also be very upset with that game. Now the people at the pub say why are you mad its only the nab cup, you almost beat last years premieres,you've got to be happy with that. that is a short term fix, we need new a support base new members we need to move everything to casey fields, training admin all year round we need the kids that want to follow the dees, i dont wont other fans from other clubs buying our membership, they will buy one year but that's it, whats the point in that, don't buy anyone a membership unless you do it every year, otherwise there is no point in this strategy. But if you are a millionaire then buy ten memberships and do it forever. just wait and see what happens at the kagas will they get 36k member this year if they don't then they are staffed, all that did was give them a false sense of security they will panic because they will budget for more membership money, so they increase there footy spending thinking they will be makeing y but only get x,then they will be in worse shape then last year.

Does very one have short memories, it was not gutnick who started all the debt, when gabriel szondy got reed of gutnick we had no debt, for three years under szondy we went from 500k in the black to 5m in the red, one of the main reasons for this is for three years when the speacel fund that is avalible for under preforming clubs, from the afl which was 1 m a year the bulldogs said thankyou we will take it, then North said thank you, but szondy said no we dont need it, we are just doing fine thank you and all the waile we wree losing 1.5 m a year. i am sick and tied of everyone blaming gutnick how many other people have given the club 3 m.everyone forgets about szondy i dont know why he put as in all this debt just because of his own pride in rejecting the money.

The Demons can no longer afford to stay in the AFL. Reading the club's profit and loss statement, Melbourne is going to lose more money next year. First, lost money from Waverley Park. We have received the last instalment - that's 250k lost, Secondly, if there's no major sponsor found, we lose 1m. The club lost moneny from corporates and next year the corporates are going to spend less. If the corporates spend half as much the club loses 500k. Thirdly, the debt demolition raised $3m. You can't raise a another 3m next year - you therefore lose 3m. In summary:- 1. Waverley 250k 2. No major sponsor 1m 3. Debt demo 3m Total shortfall $4.25m Can anyone tell me please where are they going to find this money? we will get 1m from mcc 1m from afl still a lose of 2.25 m

The club is waiting to see if they can fire him for bringing the club in disrepute so they will not have to pay him if they pay him out then it will be included in the Dees' total payer payments in 2008 and this will see the Dees breach the salary cap and the AFL will come down hard on us because they want us gone.

i sure hope in hell that the demon comes back on our logo. the last president tried to kill the demon, not one piece of demon logo was used in our merchandise in 2008. I think it is time to talk about trades, Cameron Bruce its time to find him a new home put him out there, i think the swans would love him, take what ever they wont to give for him, Paul chapman has to leave the cats, they wont him to take a pay cut,to pay there other stars more money, he does not wont to take a pay cut, that's what billy brownless said on sen a few morning ago. i think he is more important then ablett, he is a gun and hard at it he would improve any side by 10%

If buddy Franklin was in next years draft and you had number one would you pick him or or pick tumbling buddy had the best leap fast tall and heaps of athleticism, but he was past until 4 th pick because he was not the best player in the draft. when someone like this kid comes along you pick him in front of a midfielder, they come at a dime a dozen

the dees only won 5 games last year if we win less then three games we get pick 1 and pick 3 just like carlton did last year because we won less then 8 games over two years last and this year counts for less then 8 wins over two years
