Adam Tomlinson on the move?
I watched every Casey game and recorded them for my research. Somebody must have been playing well down back! The average score against Casey for home and away, plus finals, was just over 56 points... less than 10 goals! Only one oppo player got off the chain across the season; Evans kicked 5 v Geelong. Only four oppo players managed 3 goals against Casey across the rest of the season. In 5 games the highest opposition goalkicker was a single goal! I think Tomlinson played 14 games for Casey. In those outings he was the Rock around which the full defence was built. Undervaluing his contribution to the VFL Premiership is mean spirited! Should he be kept on the list? Should he be playing for an AFL club in 2023? Time will tell, but his form in 2022 was solid.

Adam Tomlinson on the move?
Tomlinson is far from a spent force. He mightn't pull much interest from other clubs, but he progressed steadily from that ACL to the point where he was on the verge of a recall. His dominance at VFL level confirms his worth. He is ready to go if injury or player movements open up a tall defender opportunity in the next three years. I'd be happy to see him on our list over that time span.

I guess one out of three isn't bad when you're simply spraying erratically with a scatter gun!- Farewell Jayden Hunt
Ridiculous historical negationism going on here over Jayden's career! Hunting Jayden | AFL Players' Association- Farewell Jayden Hunt
Spargo will need to improve, but he brings a few excellent attributes to his role, and he ain't slow!- Trade and Free Agency rumours

Ahhh, supporters! Take a breath. It ain't called a double chance for no reason. How do you think Bears supporters are feeling this morning? "oh, [censored]! Now we have to play the Premiers on the rebound on their own turf!"- 2022 Injury List
Looking at the interview with Michael Hibberd on the MFC site, noticed Kosi in the training footage, knee heavily strapped and walking with a limp! Not wishing to alarm, but would appreciate an update from anyone who has been at training.- Farewell Sam Weideman
Best contribution I've seen from Weid for quite some time. He was outsized, but his second efforts were good. As the game progressed he made more hit outs to advantage. It seems, we get more from Weid if we aren't relying on him to mark! He is mobile and he played a good four quarters yesterday. If he remains on our list, I look forward to him getting his opportunity next year... just not as a key forward!- CASEY: QF vs Sydney
Great team performance! Dunstan is a beauty Tomlinson wasn't all bad... very effective around a few misfires Weids was definitely the most effective ruckman / follower on the ground JVR continues promising season Macca contributed Pleased to see the way Rosman, Baker & Chandler finished off after quiet starts- AFLW GAMEDAY : Rd 01 vs Adelaide
Where's Goldie?- 2022 All Australian Team
The All Australian Commonwealth Games Swimming Team was selected by a panel of former swimmers and a couple of sports journalists last evening. While it is a great team, including several gold medallists and at least two world record holders, a few selections have raised eyebrows in swimming circles. The best 100 metre breaststroke position was filled by a specialist 100 metre freestyler... Selectors defended this unusual decision by pointing out that it was a particularly good year for freestylers and it was impossible to limit the squad to the three freestyle positions normally allocated. In another selection anomaly, the worlds leading backstroker, and current world record holder from 50 metres to 200 metres, was selected in the 10 metre platform diving position. Possibly the most contentious selection was that of the All Australian Swimming Coach for 2022. That position was filled by the chef de mission for the team, who has a background in lawn bowls!- Thank you Demonland
