Training Ground?
The problem for you is that the majority here understand that getting a feasibility study ticked off is simply an acknowledgement by the major players that a specific proposal can be achieved. If it is not achieved because of a range of other roadblocks, it doesn’t mean the Board needs to be ejected. A large number here can see that the Caulfield option is one that would satisfy almost all of our needs regarding a home base. Would you prefer the Board take none of the prescribed actions for establishing such a base for fear of failure?

The real problem with the MFC's culture is that we have a multitude of 'supporters' who hate the club, hate the club leaders, hate the coach and hate the fact that we aren't the club depicted in the media narrative!

The scoreboard, so far, on those that were reputed to be leaving us in 2024 (by the self-appointed experts)! Oliver X Petracca X ANB yes Goodwin X Kossie X Viney X McDonald X Schache yes Petty X BBB yes Roffey yes

I think you will find that the playing fields will be ready long before the whole complex is completed.

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
I wish Demonland adopted some of the MFC Board regulations so certain posters could be rejected for representing selfish objectives!

Training Ground?
That's it for me, then! Your deflation and financial nous has me rethinking if I want to join you on planet outrage!

It never ceases to send me into hysterical laughter when I notice that posters like Hawk actually think they are flying under the radar!

Time to go Goody?
For those who came to the great debate rather late in history, let me point out to you that we are currently in one of the two most successful decades for the MFC since the 1950's/1960's. The two coaches that have given us most success since then are Neale Daniher and Simon Goodwin! Both have had down periods... even Nom Smith did in the early sixties! That he was sacked by the Board in 1965 lives on in football ignominy!

The List Manager Tim Lamb
let's dredge the complete list of former MFC on-field/off-field leaders and decision makers to see if we can cough up someone to take over. We can find out if they are remotely interested or qualified in the position after we complete the character assassination of the current crew!

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Billings
In our final two games this season Billings had 23 and 18 disposals. That represents a good return for the position he was playing in. The problem we have is that posters form an early opinion of a player and it's very difficult to change that perception. I think we need to acknowledge improvement. I'm sure the coaching panel has!

Iv'e noticed an interesting development in this thread! Posters are now following an 'its all about me' trend!

I'm so glad a select group of DL's have orchestrated the character assassination of a highly regarded world identity rather than digging up more crud on Pert, Roffey, Goodwin and Richardson!

NON-MFC: Semi Finals
Aw, that's it then... I'm totally off his bandwagon if you don't like him!

5 Young Dees Re-Sign
AMW is quick, is clean, has above average kicking skills, showed plenty in all but one of his games for MFC. What's not to like? This year, out of all the listed players at Casey, he was the standout for mine. He will make it, and he will be in our round 1 side.

5 Young Dees Re-Sign
I agree, Kynan will make it, but he has some things to work on. He was careless with disposal in the latter rounds at Casey this year leading to some silly turnovers. He gets the ball, and that's a big plus. Also tackles hard!

AFL Commission Chairman Richard Goyder congratulates Kate Roffey- Christian Petracca
This highlights the hypocrisy and feigned outrage that shows like Footy Classified rely on to maintain the ratings!- Christian Petracca
How emphatic does the medical data have to be before the puffed-up media pretenders draw a line through this concoction about the club & club personal being shoddy?- Kate Roffey Steps Down
I believe the question was regarding whether she had spoken to Christian about his reported intention to go elsewhere.- VFL Recruiting options 2024
You need to take a closer look mate! Quite a few clubs have had some success by picking up mature (26 is hardly mature aged) Don’t be so critical when you obviously don’t watch VFL games other than Casey!- VFL Recruiting options 2024
Brodie McLaughlin (Williamstown) continues to shine as a goalkicker. After being equal highest goalkicker for Gold Coast reserves in 2023, with 60. I see he has kicked 10 in two finals games for Williamstown in 2024. He is 26 and would be handy at Casey, might cover for the likes of J Smith in the firsts on occasions. Affordable depth in my opinion. - Kate Roffey Steps Down
