Surprised that Viv is in. Good luck to you sunshine My pick was Dunn stays in and maybe Garland and Grimes to come back. I was wrong! ( Not uncommon) Welcome back Oliver Saw training yesterday, they haven't dropped. Just need to get it back, Captain Jones was vocal, Even PJ was there. This group is fantastic, best i seen in a long long time. I'm NOT old, like Knights of the Templar old, but old enough to know these guys can bring it back.

DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Round 4
Captain Todd replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
6. Viney: heart of a lyon 5. Watts: He always had, just needed some confidence 4. Gawn: Kept on going even with the soon to be illegal 3rd up 3. Jones: One of the great captains in the industry 2. Salem: Composed and brilliantly stable 1. Wagner: The Beatles called him the Everywhere Man -
Jeremy Howe, We'll take you back. Come home and we'll love you. You'll play harder, work harder and love it harder.

Watts and Hogan are fantastic. Just wait until Petracca comes along and Garlett is back. We are going to have a forward line with potency. Schwartz and Lyon, Neitz and Farmer. Its going to be a winning scoreline

He wouldn't know who the coach of Freo is as Ross Lyon has been in discussion with the Suns, he think can take them to a losing Grand Final as long as Zac Dawson is allowed to follow. He is lovable young man and will mature over the coming two years as we win more games. There is nothing like being in the centre of footy, ask Bernie (Gabe's Favorite) Vince why he moved here and the difference to a satellite town. Jesse, we love you and you expect 6 goals a game and are disappointed when it doesn't happen, it will happen soon, just be patient.

Is the shellacking on the outside of the boat? Because that would make the boat harder. However if its on the players, the shellacking will cover them in goo. They love it! -

I agree, but hey got away with it. Why can't we run with reverse red body, blue V? -
Despie your incredibly bad moniker, I agree. We must win for every clean team out there. I do like CP5 and he'll be here sooner rather than later. He was looking good on Wednesday. And he knows it. Alan Jakovich said, talent can get you so far, hard work will make you win.

It is not the current players that are the disgrace. It is the administration that oversaw the program, still not taking responsibility for their actions. That should be BOOed! I'm not in favour of their support for the banned 12.

The Sash is in the Essendon Charter, they can't play in anything else. We should do the same. they could play in yellow and brown and still not win this year! I like the red and blue reversed. Long day are the days where mud made it indeterminable. Bring back the muD! -

What sort of boat is it? Is the Essendone "Six months on a leaky boat" type of boat? -
the pushing &holding and interference on the the fwds by GWS was borderline and at some times surpassed within the rules.

Maxy was servicable. He needs another string to his bow. Our previous great ruckman were able to punch the ball to CHF from the ruck. If he can do this, it will be a great benefit as it adds another layer of complexity for the opposition to counter for.

Jack Watts has been a good player with excellent disposal. The difference is that we have better players around him. add Bugg, Frost, Kennedy and Clarry Oliver. He can't carry the team all on his own, he needs team mates, he now has them. Can't wait for Petracca, Gus and Trengove to get in the team.

Petracca was looking really good. Too good for Casey and he knows it, the coaches know it. Hope he makes it by stop doing 19 year old stuff. Full squad, great day for it. They are noisy and talking a lot, a great sense of camaraderie. Goodwin and Watts had a good verbal joust. Watts was also kicking across the ground, pin pointing 50m kicks. AVB will make it. Bring on the Giants!- 21 replies

Thanks for the report Deespicable. I like that Hogan knows what he can do, he has a little arrogance about it, kind of like in Top Gun Viper: That's pretty arrogant, considering the company you're in. Maverick: Yes, sir. Viper: I like that in a pilot. He needs to know he is going to have supply of the ball and kick bags of 6 regularly. He needs confidence to be able to do that and this week has shown that. He sets a pretty high bar for himself and is disappointed when he doesn't get there. I went to training on Wednesday and I like Harmes, the coaches are trying to get rid of some of his bad habits. Team first stuff, he is one hell of an instinctive footballer, from the old school where they mark, kick and take risks. Good to hear AVB is OK.

Thanks Stuie, Variation on a theme, are you going to be at training tomorrow morning?
