  1. That show is the offcuts from Crunch time, which is a far better Revamped sat morning listen now with Leppitsch, Whately.. sometimes Healy, Jordan Lewis, Huddo.... And not Derm, Robbo, King etc ?
  2. Cant wait to see us turn the Pies into the crumbs.
  3. I just want to say that It's so god damn surreal that opponents are not firing a 2nd shot... I'm expecting replies after replies, but we just overrun them until the end. It's so foreign.
  4. But the alternative is a player you're outperforming in the VFL/praccies, getting selected as sub ahead of you, just because they've already debuted and you haven't? It's not ideal to debut as sub, but is not playing seniors an improvement?
  5. These are all valid points, ... But what if having Bowey as the sub is because he's our next best performed, the most ideal utility roleplayer to cover various positions, the fittest, the best decision maker, the most skilled and therefore the best pick of the bunch to help us get over the line, in the event of an injury? Purely from a tactical point of view. I mean the coaching dept has already confirmed you are good enough to make it to the highest level if you are picked ahead of 22 or so other players on the list, in just your first year. And tbh id rather see what he can do at this stage, than have Baker as sub. If our best 22 is so hard to get into for another month, it makes sense to put the 23rd best player as sub, even if he's not used for a month, just in the event that he's ready to have an better impact on the game, than others who you're saying we should make subs purely because they've already debuted? It's not a compelling argument. The kids a first round pick, I'm sure he has enough belief in himself and is chomping at the bit to get on the field and make an impact in any capacity. Maybe stepping up, when another goes down, is also a point of pride. If he doesn't come on, we all know it wasn't his first game. It's merely an intangible statistical anomaly that the AFL just hasn't fixed yet. He will know his first game will be when he actually gets on the field via a sub or as listed in 22. But having said all that, your points about family and the first game being major are all perfectly fine reasons to just debut him in the 22 instead when the time comes. I don't know, depends on the player really. As i said, maybe he really wants to debut as 23rd man waiting to help out if someone is injured. We're a 10/1 team chock full of superstars and players all performing their role, you'd kill to just be cutting oranges for them at this stage. ?‍♂️
  6. Maybe A&F meant Weid for Collingwoods 2nd & Maynard
  7. If that music is the soundtrack to his game, then the opposition are in deep [censored]. All jokes aside, he looks like he has the Jeremy mcgovern chesty build
  8. Was that Dunn's last possession or match in a demon jumper? I recall Roos dragging him and then he played in the VFL for the rest of the season.
  9. They all live in Yarraville now, sippin lates and watching foreign films in their heritage cinema when they're not posting on Bulldog forums!
  10. Great interview, especially when he revealed the spray he gave Oliver at half time for their midfielders having 20pos at half time and Oliver taking that personally and responding.
  11. They actually resemble us in 2018. Defense is based on Midfield/offence preventing defence having to do anything lol
  12. SEN discussing tagging Bont, and mentioning Harmes. I just think he's not big, good or not smart enough. Which had me thinking could Luke Jackson be the ideal body type, athletic ability and high IQ for this type of tagging role? Perhaps not today, but in the future.. the 200cm mid/ruck that could not just smother But Dominate a Bont/fyfe type. Just a thought.
  13. If it rains and they have to keep it open, will the quick sand favor our game style over the Dogs?
  14. Smart move by the FD. Weid will either dominate a mediocre WB kpd or realise he's better off re-signing on backup depth wages and avoiding a rabid fan base that wants their big money's worth. Win Win... I think? ?
  15. The Mighty Mickleham Bulldogs.
  16. MFCPTSD has replaced MFCSS, if we're still discussing what-ifs the following evening.
  17. Panned yup. I was called stupid and told that I know nothing about footy from @don't make me angry for simply saying we start slowly and we need to keep them out of the contest early. Or it will be s big danger game. Gee what a [censored] day where I have to take pleasure in knowing that bloke was the one "that would have to eat his words" as he said to me, not from the result but the fact the Adelaide are a dangerous team on their home deck. Thanks for spoiling my morning AND afternoon.
  18. We're slow starters, so if they do get s jump on us and the crowd gets pumped up, they could have a 4-5 goal lead if we're off the ball. It would only take another burst of momentum in 3rd and then they defend out of their skins and we lose this one. First quarter is key. None of our matches against lowly Vic clubs have been the oft repeated danger game, but I do feel an interstate side on their patch is one.
  19. Add Shane Edwards into the thug mix. He tackles ferociously hard but adds the finishing touch of a very subtle dumping of the player into the turf in order to injure. He puts his whole body into it and contorts the players legs into awkward positions, all in one motion so you can't distinguish The grapple and the dump. Calculated accidents. Just ask Ports Butters & Rozee about it! Both him and Cotchin would be aiming to take out one of our mids early in a final
  20. A giraffe on roller skates
  21. Fair call, but it was a pretty even split on bringing in Weid before and after the game, both were performing well in vfl. But the FDs decision to give BB another week was vindicated with his performance against Sydney, so I don't thInk you are as ahead of everyone as you think. It seems it was only ever about either giving Weid or BB a 2/3 week stint. None of our key forwards were getting dropped after a week. Chandler is a role player, so it's not comparable. Edit: Furthermore giving Weid his first game against a dogged Swans outfit might've been a very poor decision.
  22. But too much crystal balling going on is what I mean. Browns first game was passable. His following game against Sydney was decent. How do you know Weid comes in and makes a difference? Maybe we lose a few of Ben Browns big marks and goals. And maybe we lose to Sydney. My point being that you have to reward form, you can't just drop a player because you have an inkling that they may have a run of poor form. You could be wrong.
  23. We mightve given Goody too much credit for the Melk dropping last week. It may have been only about weather. A dry Adelaide oval deck pr9bably has Goodwin thinking we need Melkshams class by foot more so than pressure. And we don't have much pressure on that high half forward role right now. Jones or Chandler? Laurie in a year? I think it's one area of recruitment or trade that we need to look into. A Harley Bennell at his peak would've been ideal there. There was a reason we all got excited about his potential there. And I don't think we've completely replaced that position yet. (Just to nitpick list management areas)
  24. 2 weeks ago? So you've been wrong for 2 weeks? So using this logic, if i say we should drop TMAC, and then he has two very mediocre 0-5 possession games. I would've been RIGHT and ahead of everyone by saying we should drop our best performing forward for a Weid & Brown forward line against Adelaide? Rightio Nostradamus
