  1. It was quite funny actually as soon as it was announced that Fitzy was leaving and headed to Hawthorn, my mate who plays for Boxhill messaged me saying can't wait to play with Fitzy at vfl. He Knows the order of call ups and the only way fitz gets a game is if half their defence gets injured.
  2. That is very interesting to look at. But I believe that is why Lumumba has to get a game he adds experience no one else has. Even though he has lost that yard of pace that he used to have at Collingwood (could be because of injury) he is still really damaging off half back and I think with more support from others he will be able to create the over lap run we desperately need. Because of lot of times throughout the year he would turn on the jets and break away but because we are quite slow of half back no one would be able to run with him to create that run and drive from half back. Something Western Bulldogs do really well. Same with NM, WCE, and FFC. If we can generate that run it will give Hogan more one on ones and jeffy more chances to run into open goals and will make us a heavily improved football side.
  3. Yes I agree he can go missing at times, but I reckon with a stronger overall team this year he will look a lot better on the field. Because hopefully our better overall ball use will improve and he will have the ball fed to him a lot better. I also reckon that there is some dislike amongst the players for Jack Watts as he consistently gives good leads and is ignored, don't know whether just poor decision making or there is truly something wrong, don't actually know what it is all about but hopefully it is fixed because he offers a lot. Will be consistent best 22 by the end of 2016.
  4. FB: Jetta Dunn Bugg HB: Melksham McDonald Salem C: Watts Viney Vince HF: Kent Hogan vandenBerg FF: Garlett Dawes Petracca Foll: Gawn Tyson Jones Int: Frost Brayshaw Trengove Stretch A lot of people still seem to hate Watts even though I reckon he is slowly building his kicking is so important for the team and really helps put a score goals. Supporters seem to get angry and abusive when he turns it over, of course he is going to turn it over he kicks to dangerous options, but I don't mind him backing himself in as he is an elite kick. I also reckon Roos will start Petracca deep initially as he would rather have vandenBerg and Kent pushing up but will eventually let him loose. I left the black line a little light on but if a team has three talls then frost could easily be rotated on for Bugg, I believe that Roos really likes frost and will play every game when fit. Trengove starts on the bench as more hope than anything, if he gets up for round I will be where ever the first game is played cheering so loudly as I think he is a gun and if he can stay fit and get back into the speed of AFL will be really damaging for us.
  5. I actually could not be happier with Jeremy Howe leaving. Although I do have to say I did love his marks and for a while was the only enjoyable thing about going to watch. But Jeremy Howe oozes everything that was wrong with the club during the rebuilding, give us a glimpse of hope and then turn it over. Pretty much the story of the demons with drafts and new coaches new recruits. Everything was designed to give the supporters more hope but nothing really came from it. Now that he is gone I feel like we almost have a 22 (excluding the younger players who don't have a big enough tank yet) that can play and put 100% grunt and work into 4 quarters, and I can't wait for 2016 season to begin.
  6. Definitely Parish at 3 the club has been all over him with Goodwin down in the falcon rooms getting him ready. I like Wiedeman, and think he would be a good pick up but Curnow looks really good. I reckon one of them has to be there at 7 so I'll be happy either way.
