TEAMS: Rd 09 vs West Coast
Agree - quite a few premiership players still there. It's there engine room that really lets them down though. Lots of new guys.

The Veil of Negativity is gone ⦠forever?
I know itās only small fry, but we really need to go out and belt West Coast and North. Weāve had a history of losing to teams whoāve had the blow torch on them all week. In terms of longer term prospects, Iād like to see where we sit at the end of 2025. If we have multiple premierships, finals appearances every year and a real sense of confidence going to a game as a supporter knowing youāll get a really good effort, it will go a long way to removing this veil.

Where does Gus play when Salem returns?
Iām a big Rivers fan. His grand final performance was remarkably unheralded. Didnāt make a mistake. I canāt see him being pushed out. JJ the most likely vulnerable.

My 3 word player analysis V StKilda
Not sure you could call Fritschās season quiet, averaging 2 goals game as third tall (if you can call it that) and has kicked a goal in every game so far this season.

When was the last time you watched Melbourne lose?
From the stands - round 22 2019.

Will Max Gawn ever be recognised as the best player in the league?
What makes his rise even more fascinating is how far back heās come from. If we went back to 2014 on this forum, no one could have predicted he would lead us to our first premiership and be considered one of the greatest ruckmen of our time. Itās just a wonderful story.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Iām actually of the view this could be a real danger game for us. The Hawks have usually responded pretty well to a loss this season and they have troubled us in the past. Iāll just be happy with the 4pts.

FIXTURE: Rd 12 to 15
It would be great if the AFL could adjust Melbourneās Round 8 fixture vs the Saints. Itās probably going to be billed as one of the games of the season but due to the poor scheduling by the AFL itās got a 1:10pm Sunday slot on Motherās Day of all days, itāll be a poor crowd. I know itās going to be a struggle for me to convince the wife to let me go to that game and Iām sure many others will be in that boat. Cue the outrage of opposition supporters criticising Melbourneās fan base when we get a poor crowd for it.

CHANGES: Rd 04 vs Port Adelaide
Tmac and Tomlinson both at the airport. I imagine BB will fly In tomorrow morning?

What they are saying at Bomberland
I honestly wouldnāt be surprised if we got rolled on Friday night. The GC game was really taxing and Max Gawn admitted it so. 6 day break makes it tough. I wonāt lose any sleep over an upset. We have won 9 games in a row, and we all know how long the season is.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
Itās all water under the bridge now as heās been sacked, but I think the Laidley thing is much worse because the cop obtained that photo at his work which is under the umbrella of private and confidential who then shared it with others. Iād like to think whoever shared Tomās audio get their own karma one day as itās done nothing but hurt people and that was the leakerās full intention.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
Our views on what is considered public are very different. So if you sent a whatsapp msg to your partner who then screenshot it and sent it to another friend, who made it public? Was it you or was it your partnerās friend that made it āmore publicā as you put it? Note, WhatsApp is an E2E encryption messaging app, which is used as a substitute for txt msging. Itās not Twitter.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
Two points. It wasnāt a public setting - the leaker made it public. The leaker was also the one who chose to make her orientation public. Tom was wrong to discuss with his friends private information about a colleague but he didnāt make them public.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
I think Tomās comments about his colleague are terrible, but for a private conversation to be distributed without his consent which will now ruin his career is a very harsh lesson. 95% of people on this forum would have said a disparaging comment about their colleagues at some point in their lifetime but the difference is no one was secretly recording them and sending it to their bosses. Even the second video heās clearly drunk and hasnāt given permission to be recorded. As I said, Tomās comments in both vids are disgraceful, but I just think itās sad for society that people are essentially getting fired for saying something in private and then getting it recorded, leaked and their workplaces made aware. This is very different to trolls online who acknowledge that their tweets/posts are published to the internet or even celebrities who made disgraceful remarks on Twitter 10 years ago which are dragged up. Just makes me worried/sad for a personās right to privacy and one of the bigger villains in all of this is who distributed this content.

2022 Tickets Thread
Does anyone know where you can find your barcode? At the bottom of the article posted by the club it said if you wanted to upgrade your seat enter your membership barcode on ticketek. I tried using the one they sent me for last year but it didnāt work and I havenāt seen a new one sent to me yet for this yearā¦

Apologies for linking to an almost NSFW website, but this bad boy is what we all want when itās available. Looks like it comes in Blu-Ray and DVD https://shop.richmondfc.com.au/2020-premiers-complete-season-collection/

Premiership DVD and victory pack
Iām going to order this (itās in Blu-Ray). Why are the Victory packs only in DVD? Why is anyone still selling DVD? https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/afl-premiers-2021-melbourne-demons-2021-blu-ray

How far off were we from a perfect 2021?
I have the perspective that every loss we had during the season was a stepping stone towards our premiership. Itās nice to wonder what might have been if we were undefeated all year, but at the end of the day, the journey turned out how it turned out, and we won the flag.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TOM SPARROW
Huge fan of Sparrow. Terrific long kick, tough, and was super composed in every final. Kicked a goal and had 2 assists in the GF.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Hats off to Darren Burgess. We had so much running power in that second half. He wonāt get a medal but his fitness regime changed this football club.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I thought we were gone for all money 5 mins into the third qtr. The greatest second half Iāve ever seen. It still hasnāt sunk in yet. Itās unbelievable ā¤ļøš

GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Western Bulldogs
I felt it didnāt look like a Melbourne game the first qtr. We got a few flukey goals and a couple from first half turn overs, we didnāt get too many through our conventional method which was a worry.

GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Western Bulldogs
Thatās true. I donāt think they can replicate this.
