What are they saying at Moore Park?
Slightly off topic but relevant for those who’ve been harangued or abused by opposition supporters: Some years ago we were playing the Magpies and as inevitability has it, I was surrounded by evil opposition supporters. I’m pretty sure we were being trounced so when I made a negative comment aloud about a Collingwood player all hell broke loose. A Collingwood player , Lockyer, was awarded a free kick and without hesitation I called out, ‘ get a real name Tarquin ‘(his actual first name ) I thought it was a pretty harmless request, but fists were raised in my direction not to mention the profound umbrage and verbal aggression that spewed forth . At a quiet moment I let myself out😱

Melksham - one memorable mark van Rooyen - seemingly lost heart Sparrow - has become redundant Sharp - displayed limited talent Henderson - experiment has failed- GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Viney to tag and harass Ferret, and the game will hinge on his ability to nullify the Essendon captain.- How many players have improved ?
Yes, but can you play on the wing?- How many players have improved ?
Arguably, I can only nominate Chandler as the sole improver in performance from last year, and even he hasn’t been overly convincing. Surely this is an indictment on the entire football programme at the club- My 3 word player analysis V Geelong
