  1. Just FYI we haven’t received a free kick since the first 7mins of the game

Ive been working on the current redevelopment works at Caulfield for the last year and I completely agree with you that the area inside the track is a ghost town. Hardly gets used at all for the space it occupies. Given any redevelopment inside the track area would still have to include public use I don’t see that anyone would ultimately be worse off by having us based there.
  3. Well that was just pox defensive work
  4. Back line holding up well for sure. Let down by poor skills/disposal further up the ground.
  5. How was that not 50?
  6. I reckon the plan of handballing it to the feet of a teammate may need to change
  7. You allowed to fend of to the neck now?
  8. Oh go and get stuffed
  9. WHAT THE [censored] AM I WATCHING!!! Totally incomprehensible how we can still have EXACTLY the same problems as last year.
  10. Oh Langdon what the heck was that
  11. Wow just wow. You’d think we’d learn from losing the past few finals because of poor kicking.
  12. Exactly my point
  13. Great to see the incorrect disposal rule interpretation still a complete lottery!

Hey chaps, as I'm currently working on the site at the moment I can confirm the inner part of the track is several meters lower than the track it self, but the more interesting part is how deep they dug an area called the 'parade ring' which is part of work package 3 (WP3). See the photo below which shows the parade ring which is about 6-7m below ground level and had no problems with water table. The upper level is ground level. They have installed a massive concrete pit at one end which is another 5+m deeper again as a collection point for all the stormwater collected on the lower levels and I don't believe they had too many issues with ground water at that depth, but I'm less sure on that. Have also added a photo of the mounting yard which ramps down from the track. The horses are housed in stalls around the outer edge of the parade ring then get walked through an underground tunnel which connects to the mourning yard where the jockeys mount up. Patrons can stand on the upper decks and look down onto the horses in both areas. Currently work packages 1, 2 and 4 are complete with work package 3 coming to an end. More work packages to start later this year which will involve demolition and replacement of the main grandstand which is not heritage listed. Check out this video which takes you down into both the parade ring and mounting yards. https://mrc.racing.com/mrc-masterplan/latest-videos Cheers, coach
  15. Well that’s the game unfortunately 😞
  16. Think most of the team has been tagged so far!
  17. Game turned a little in that last 5-7mins. Desperately needed that goal. Absolutely must kick the first after half time.
  18. Amazing how similar that quarter looked to how the men were playing at the end of the season, no run, bombing it out of defense to 1 on 3 contests, no confidence. Really needed that one on the siren but alas no to be. Hope they can turn this around quick or it will be straight sets again for the Dees.
  19. Jeez that ump at center half back for north influential early!

My Nanna is from Wudinna, and her grandparents names are on the Australia Farmers monument located there, rest assured everyone I am not feeling lured to head “home”!
  21. This team is something special! How they adapt to each oppositions strengths is just exceptional. Cats were super tough at the footy early and we just ramped it up around the footy and took away their strength whilst allowing the rest of our game to shine. Unbelievable! So rapt for them ❤️💙❤️💙
  22. Said to my daughters and wife during the game, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 aaaaaand 7! That's seven kicks in a row straight to our own team mate who barely had to move to take the easy chest mark, I haven't seen our boys do that in a long time. Best bit most of the kicks were under some kind of pressure, not just chipping it around in the backline. Absolutely loving the skills out of our women's team at the moment, the direct ball movement and the joy they show playing the game we love. They are without doubt providing so much more joy for my family than the men!
  23. Just stay on Demonland and read Hinkley wherever you see Goodwin
  24. For my mind we need a shake up of the assistant group again to freshen the messages up. Yze off to Tigers, Stafford out all together and perhaps choccos goal kicking practice can be quietly shut down
  25. Problems is we have been saying “if it weren't for…” (insert excuse of the day) an awful lot over the past two years
