Personal opinion is that a bigger mid is a much better option than the smaller option. I think Anderson is nearly 190cm and is a goal kicker. Rowell from what I have seen is more inside which I think we have enough of.

I understand your sentiment but you are not recruiting players such as Jenkins on 800k a year as depth players. Your depth players need to be developed and I believe kids are the best approach here. Having T Mac and Weed both injured is unlucky.

I’m not sure who will be available come the end of the season but getting C graders is not going to do anything to improve us except clog up the list. T Mac back in form and another pre- season into Weeds will make a massive difference.

Jenkins is still under contract and Casboult is a liability.

Please don’t put JKH in. The bloke is good VFL player and not hard enough for AFL. Tim Smith had a quiet day yesterday but kicked 3.3 against Freo, so he stays in. Bris look a good side and they killed us around the ball. The backs and fwds weren’t our issue yesterday. Everyone keeps banging on about Preuss but I don’t see that he is dominating VFL and only hear that he is not fit enough to run out a game. They are developing him as a young ruck, so let him do that in the 2’s and set him up for a big pre season to improve his fitness and get more opportunities next year.

I think ANB is a much better pressure fwd than JKH. JKH is an outside mid and I believe a bit soft and that’s why he doesn’t get a look in.
