  1. I said Frost not ANB. Completely different pay scales
  2. ANB is a role player, a great team man, the right age and you have to show some faith in your playing list. Keeping ANB also has no bearing on us getting other players.
  3. Base was the wrong wording but he wound be below the average wage
  4. Because it’s the same team that made the prelim the year before. So we had a poor year, let’s cut wages!
  5. Because they would be on base wages and you would still have to replace them.
  6. I have heard this is 100% correct. We needed cap space to land Elliot and I dare say if he has stayed at the Pies, then we can afford to keep Frost.
  7. Trengove before his foot injuries was tracking beautifully. Injuries curtailed him more than the development.
  8. I am actually a Frost fan due to his offensive attributes but he has not a gun like a few are making him out to be. I am also not convinced they will actually play him in front of May, Lever, Petty and Tomlinson
  9. Again useless stats. Surely the fact he is equal with O Mac tells you that. I would also argue most players would take on more difficult kicks and this is what impacts their %. Frost and O Mac both butcher 20m passes.
  10. Sorry my comment came out wrong. It was more around most players % wouldn’t improve based on the 5 win season not the fact we should have improved from one season to the next. Still not sure my point is as clear as it should be. Long day! ??‍♂️
  11. No offence but what a bunch of useless stats. We won 5 games, do you really expect our list to improve after making the prelim in 2018
  12. Everyone carry on about the players signing on, need to understand that every team needs depth. The majority of those signed are also in the right age bracket to keep on improving. As much as everyone would like it, you can’t have 40 superstars on your list.
  13. I’d take Wagner over Stretch.
  14. Lets rip the heart out of the club.
  15. The funny thing about all this is that most people think it happens all of sudden. Interested parties would have been in contact for months and aren’t all of sudden throwing their hats into the ring.
  16. I agree Oscar doesn’t play but with May, Lever, Hore, Petty, Hibbo and Jetta I think we can cover Frost. It also means we can get Elliot, then I think it’s a win. May is a gun and hopefully with getting his body right, will show how good he is.
  17. What a load of rubbish! Howes skills were a thousand times better than Frost.
  18. Oscar has no currency and if May and Lever stay fit, then Frost will be lucky to get a game.
  19. He might win the one on one contests against Weed and Petty but at least once he gets it, he will kick it straight back to us
  20. Good in theory but can’t see GWS letting him go
  21. Definitely a No.
  22. I can’t see him playing as a wingman. I agree we need the outside speed but Frost is the last bloke we want kicking to our forwards. One of our biggest issues is hitting a forward target and Frost doesn’t have the foot skills to help this.
  23. I see your point but you have to remember that Petty should be better again next year and Tomlinson will add to the defence if needed. If Frost has currency and it allows us to get in additional pick and free up some cap space, then I think they entertain this. I think Frost improved immensely this year but his disposal is a liability.
