My thoughts on the first quarter was the Shark's backline was the difference, we seem to be cracking them open this quarter.

I'm at the game and checked out the huddle at quarter time. Coach seemed pretty calm and encouraging. Told the players to go in harder when the ball goes to ground.

I went to the match on Saturday thinking it was going to be a nothing game tucked away at the Gold Coast. I guess I ended up seeing a bit of football history.

I just watched the replay for the first time and my first thought was what an effort to cover that much ground to get in the contest. JVR is the kind of player we want.
