If Dangerfield does move and goes somewhere other than Geelong, I will attempt to eat my scooter

You gave it a try, so did I, but breath and wasted seem to be the go, like I said at a marketing meeting, words that spring to mind with MFC...whingers

Great report again RB, from what I can gather Hunt is a confidence problem, played second fiddle to Salem and Josh Kelly at Brighton Grammar, now with missing a year, tends not to show his attributes with so many ahead of him, coaches are working with him on it, Roos always encouraging him to take the game on Garlett loves the running drills doesn't he, although I am surprised he is not shining in the game simulation, normally does in Melbourne And yes White does have an individual running style, I reckon we should put a video on the club website of Toumpas, Fitzpatrick, Hogan, Petracca and White running laps together, that should scare a few opposition teams

OD, you disappoint me, I try not to let my age show, it's getting a bit wrinkled these days, my lady loves the unicorn I have tattooed on opposite arm to skull, and my daughters really appreciate their names being there as well -

My apologies sir, just didn't sound like you, thought you were having a lend, lots of us my vintage and background, have the same thing, before it was a fashion statement, a drunken tattoo was a right of passage for the military, I was horrified the next morning, coz I didn't remember meeting the young lady, which I thought the tattoo would signify, instead "bad boy boogie' which was a great early Acka Dacka song. Impressed with the fact it was Snoopy, although I must say Daffy Duck is my favorite We had one gentleman who woke screaming because he thought his face was decaying, coz as he touched it, bits came away, turned out he had used one of the pizzas we picked up on way home as a pillow, those were the days -

Family oriented tattoo, Jones, Kent, Howe, Harmes, Garlett, Grint and me, not a bad group, but sadly like Nut (If it's true) also, a singing skull, a drunken night after an ACDC concert in Brisbane Nice to see the coverage from the camp, both officially (no complaints about the Club website) and from RB, really good succinct reports The slowing down is part of the first option they have been doing back in Melbourne, either take it or reset, problem in the past was we rushed the second and third opiton -

I agree, but the sadness lays in the fact that the Club thinks it is nothing but negativity -

What a top idea!, already have a couple of things on film, including Dean Terlich but then again some therapists bills may rise, and we don't want that RPFC, you will notice there are quite a few readers of this site, but not that many regular posters, why because they don't want to face the wrath of the less enlightened on here if they go against their mindset in a post, most who just read appreciate that I deliberately bait those less enlightened posters, I find it entertaining, it brings their prejudices to the surface A couple of players have actually said that they have been told not to read Denonland as it is "nothing but negativity", which is sad, I have even told then that it isn't all negativity, so they will provide me with answers, and not clichés, in fact some times I am careful what I ask Daniel Cross in particular as he is so bloody honest in his answers -

Oh dear, I thought we sorted this out last year, better repeat it, the only thing I take seriously on this site are my training reports, which I provide for interstate and overseas supporters, as they can't get to training, the conversations I have with the players add a bit of colour, same with the photos on Twitter, that's why for a laugh I can get them to do the guns photos , the players know I post their comments and they don't have a problem, as I said if a question crosses the line, they tell me so, and don't answer it As for the players avoiding supporters that is just laughable, they enjoy the interaction The rest of time I am taking the [censored], because I do find some of the blowhard pompous postings risible, it is a public forum, so I take opportunity to [censored] a few balloons, if you don't like my posts don't read them, easy -

I resent that, my therapist reckons my medication is beginning to work, Welcome Hemingway, I like this quote of yours "All things truly wicked start from innocence", sums this place up -

I am not biased old chap, I have my opinions on players, I prefer to keep them to myself (no humble pie on my menu), or discuss it with the actual player, they do know their shortcomings. I just get a bit bored with the sweeping statements without any foundation, eg McKenzie's disposal efficiency from a couple of days ago I am glad you can sit in the pub, and not be 15 metres out at the G, you ever been in that position? He was absolutely devastated with that incident, I know because I spoke to him about it, face to face, and he was willing to talk about it I really don't care what you think, as you only post on a public forum, so like me you don't really matter -

Arrow, what I am saying is that there are a lot of heroes both on here and sitting at the ground who continually just carp about certain players, if they had the chance to say it to their face they would go to water, I have no respect for anybody that can't say something to somebody's face -

I know, I'm terrible aren't I, don't know how I sleep at night, on a public forum, tsk tsk Anyway back on topic, as I said clean slate for every player this season, from what I have seen Tommy Mc is improving his skills, hopefyuly with ereybody improving the ball movement from back to front will be a lot better across the board -

No I agree Tommy Mc looks like he could be a star, but has a bit of work to do, his kicking at training is getting better, of course that has to translate to match day, but it will help to have somebody like Lumumba to be able to get some tips off as well as the coaches -

I don't personally attack, like the garbage I receive, but I am man enough to take it, I use humour and a bit of sarcasm, I hope I haven't written too much, don't want you getting your lips in a tangle whilst you read it. Don't read my posts precious Back on topic, some of the comments about McDonald are just plain ridiculous, best full back last year, must be the one in the winning team, one Brian Lake, and we all know he came fully formed as a great full back at 20-21 -

I didn't jump the gun , when I say professional training and the intensity, that means in the running etc, that never changes, the players are professional athletes both Bailey's and Neeld's coaching of the footy side failed with the cattle they had and the level of fitness required as the game had changed. Neeld at least tried to improve the fitness during the pre season, even in Bailey's last year the training looked good, unfortunately inside the head of the players hadn't been fixed. Even Roos found that in the second half of the season and couldn't do anything about it. What I am noticing is the standards in the little things that are changing and with the change of personnel and the way they are coached, we may have the heads in the right place finally -

Training was very good during the Neeld era, different method of coaching though that didn't work, Craig knew his chops as well, Mission was only in his first year of dragging the players to correct level of fitness I agree, won't know properly till June, but we are now looking like a Roos coached team, and the standards he sets -

I just read Ben Newton's article on club website, where he reiterated what he had told me about the similarities with Port training One thing I have noticed and it may be a Roos thing, very minor but shows the new mindset, and after viewing vision of both Bombers and Saints training on the telly. Once a drill has finished, particularly a running drill, no player is allowed to sit on their haunches or lay down, immediately they get shouted at or another player goes across to keep them upright, seen this with Jamar and King, Viney and Harmes and a few others Other good bits from training, Bernie Vince presser, the club had 10 guys under 10 minutes which is elite, but Bernie says it counts for nothing if it doesn't translate to game day. Me thinking that the ball movement and kicking at one training was looking very good and Ben Mathews telling me it was 'ordinary', high standards Justin (his surname escapes me), the Casey coach, being at most of the training sessions, learning from the best Shannon Byrnes being a Casey player and coach, total professional and will ensure consistent standards on the field there as well The total professionalism in everything, no more complaints from anybody about development, everybody from Roos to the property guys has a piece of paper dealing exactly what will occur during a particular session Watching Jess Hogan, Jack Viney, Daniel Cross and Jack Grimes train, two young guns and two highly respected guys leading the way -

Do you get a good view from your high horse. If I cross the line with a question, the players tell me so, I have a really good relationship with most of them, having talked to them at other things besides training I didn't lay a finger on Michie never mind probe him, when players are in the rehab group I try and find out why, most tell me, if they don't that's cool, Viv said nothing so I left it at that, he certainly wasn't upset. Dave Misson will tell me why a player is missing, he even gave me advance warning about the run up Andersons Hill so I could get some good pictures for Twitter, the players like to favourite them If the players tell me something that I consider not the norm, I ask their permission to quote on here, most do, Howie with his contract, Dawes with his fitness etc etc I speak to the players once their training is finished, other supporters there do as well Every player I asked for a time for the 3k volunteered it Chris Salem loves soccer, he has finished training, it is his lunch time, we have a chat about a shared interest I even had a chat with Max King yesterday in Swan St when I bumped into him whilst myself and lady were out shopping To answer a couple of questions above, Howe was still with the defence, Vandenberg wasn't there this week, he looks ok been in rehab group so hasn't been doing much, Frost is big, strong and fast, reckon will have a real crack during NAB Cup, he is really happy being back in Melbourne, and feels part of the club already -

I take it you don't proof read you posts then I put a conversation I had with Jordie, and rather than acknowledge it, you put the above, don't read my posts, I don't really care, then I won't have to ready yours coz you won't be quoting me If that is referring to mine, same, you do have a choice you know, unless this board has knocked your individuality away, like it has with some others -

Re Bail, there was a drill today were the big forwards were running patterns to leave one side of the fifty empty, this was for Garlett, Bail, JKH, Harmes and a couple of others to run into, hopefully unnoticed Another point for those that keep asking about him, it looks like Jayden Hunt is going to be a defender, he worked with that group when the training broke into those groups, and yes Lumumba was with the midfield again -

Who is going to volunteer to tell Daniel Cross to his face that he is going to retire at the end of the year To all the posters who don't get it, the club has 40 odd players on it's list, they put themselves through hell both physically and mentally to stay on that list, whilst they are on that list, they will have my support. I would respect some of the posters on here a bit more if they could walk up to Jordie McKenzie and tell him to his face that his kicking is poor, but it is quite easy to hide behind a keyboard. I have had a couple of chats with him, discussing where he thinks he needs to improve to stay on the list and he is very honest with his answers, last year he told me Roos had said he was too one dimensional and needed to change, this pre season I am seeing that change at training As for Garland, he is now back in full training, and has looked really good again in the last couple of weeks -

With saying that, I didn't ever see you speaking up at AGM's or putting yourself forward to assist the club, I attended a workshop recently and when asked for words that sprung to mind with MFC, I said whingers, and was howled down, then the whingeing started, but nobody came up with solutions as per the norm I am a realist, the club fell in a hole of it's own making, and somebody kicked the ladder away, we have now found the ladder, we just have to climb out of the hole The coaches do know better, that is why they are an AFL coach, and most if not all on here are not Some on here can't even form their own opinions, I listen to or read a piece from one of the so called experts in the media and the next day it's quoted on here as fact Jordie's disposal efficiency is around the normal for most solid AFL players over their career which is 75 to 80%, if it wasn't he wouldn't be on the list Actually to make a point re the efficiency, Nev Jetta's was always in the 90% region yet he was delisted, why because his body continually let him down, let's see what McKenzie can do with a full preseason
