He has been an important cog in the big wheel for the tiges for a number of years. I think tigers will spend to make one last push under hardwick, meaning they will retain most key pieces. If they hit the rebuild button he could come cheaply.

I will admit I was smitten with O'meara pre injuries. He looked like a brownlow medallist of the future. But I'm not willing to sacrifice our future for him. Way too risky. His knees won't hold out for another 200 games,I can't see him playing another 10 years of quality football.

Even if Goodwin wants Grimes he is an UFA and will table the best offer out there. Grimes is gone, will be offered a better deal elsewhere even if goodie wants him to stay. Trenners is interesting. We need the depth and he was ok at AFL level this year. Still room for improvement, and a pre-season will do him wonders. I would give him another year.

It's a shame the game wasn't closer so that the umpiring could really be put under the microscope. The fact we stunk let some poor umpiring off the hook. Imagine the uproar if we had gone down by 6 points.....

I expect the dees to go to the trade table and offer up our depth and picks for an impact player or player that fits better in goodies system.

I haven't seen enough of him to be swayed either way. Averaging 16 disposals a game this year, and is only 20 years of age. If the price is right then why not.

At first I thought no way. But we gave up 24 for Melksham, and 20 for Garland and Dunn is better value than the Melksham deal....

Was an interesting prospect as a junior given his size and aggression. Fast forward to now and he is just another player struggling to crack into a senior side. If he was 19 you would take the punt. He will be 26 to start next season and hasn't done much with his 50 odd games since being drafted. Freo can have him. I would pass.

I suspected Richmond would win his services. They are desperate and don't want to hit the rebuild button. Prestia makes them a better side, but at 700k a season he would need to stay fit and firing to make it worthwhile for the tigers. Big money, big risk.

Wow. This has to be one of the saddest football stories in the last decade. This kid was a machine at peel thunder and was in #1 talks with scully trenners dusty martin. I hope he gets a gig, but I don't think it is the dees who can afford to take the punt with our list ready to make the next step.

It's so hard to justify keeping underperforming players in the side with casey playing so well. There are a few that should make way for others that probably won't. My guess is there will be no changes.

Silvagni shouldn't win it. The Blues got done by one of the worst teams going. His 3 goal performance was overshadowed by the loss. The dees went on the road to win it. Hunt was a vital cog in that win. He should get it if Oscar doesn't.

If we win and north loses, I will remind myself that the Geelong game will be the most important game for the club in a decade. I haven't forgotten the Geelong belting under Dean Bailey and would love to close the chapter on a dark era by winning the Geelong game and sneaking into the finals. North have to drop their bundle, but it's possible they might just do that!

This is a sham. They last played finals in 2009 and have only been horrid the last few years. We have been putrid for a decade!! They sold the farm for beams and lost. They can climb out the hard way like everyone else.
