  1. If they sold 90 to 100 cars this season to Dees supporters alone at an average price of $100k+ea. Not a bad return on the sponsorship. Add the media exposure/coverage based on us playing in all the finals, winning the GF after 57years which saw the news story go global, I think they would be very happy to get back on board.
  2. Hard Call. Ever; As a young bloke who just missed the glory years the players that keep me a life long Dee were; Ray Biffin, never took a backward step and I loved his games against Peter McKenna over the years. Same with Matthew Whelan, and what got me very excited was the centre line of Wells, Alves & Flower. Never forget the goal Alves kicked from the wing at Windy Hill just before half time , it set us up to win , which was the first and only time I had ever seen us beat Essendon out there. Current ; May (see Biffin) and Petracca, Oliver, Viney & Brayshaw are starting to give me the same enjoyment. Loved watching Stynes Lyon and Jako.
  3. Great effort this from the partnership team. They have been working on this since before the season started, so to get 78 Degrees, onboard after a messy start to an unpredictable season is a credit to them all. I hope the onfield team can now do the right thing and get a win over the Tiggers this weekend so we can enjoy some of the new sponsors product!
  4. If Harley plays in the Rd6 game against the Dockers at Metricon Stadium, would that be the first time a player has played , his first game in his new colours against his old Club at his original Draft Club's Home Ground? Thoughts?
  5. can we at least ,an up???????????????????????????????????????
  6. Well done to the club and the Sponsorship team getting this done in the current climate. Where are all the doom spreaders now telling us the club is not doing the right thing and holding back!
  7. From an early post worth putting back up for this topic. Best recycled players that had to have played at least one game for another VFL/AFL team before being traded to the Dees since our last Premiership.
  8. Sack the goal kicking coach. F$&king hopeless. ?
  9. Obviously the West Australian media have told us that their is a COVIT-19 in the Weagles because no one is picking up their man up. F$&k me we are useless and HeLy is a [censored]!
  10. Will be interesting to see how this plays out ,as they have been doing closed training sessions for the late two + weeks. Would suggest that the coaches have a plan which no one on this site will know. I am going to just sit back and try and enjoy the games as much as possible. GO DEES
  11. So I was unable to watch the game due to NBN outage, but I was concerned that Patton might kick a bag against us. Who was on him? If it was May then this is why we got him, to look after the big gorilla forwards.
  12. He looked good and fitted right in with the other members of the team today at the Team Photo shoot. Well done to the FD.
  13. Don’t think a younger Robbie Flower would have helped us in 88 the Dawks were just to big to strong and to good plus well coached. It’s 1994 for me that was our time.
  14. Agree but even more important , I would like to see the FD getting someone from the Umpiring Department of the AFL down to training to teach our back men how they interpret the rules so we stop getting pinged for free kicks.
