I don't think tackles is the best representation of pressure applied overall. Kent doesn't apply anywhere close to the defensive pressure needed in the forward half. I feel like Hannan is setting the benchmark for the forwards (Garlett has been good as well)

Yes I have seen all of those things but that is when the ball is in play so to speak and completely different to the centre bounce

I guess it is pretty irrelevant to argue with someone who has a completely different view (not knocking you at all) but I just feel like the randomness of the bounce is rubbish.

It doesn't nullify the ruckmen at all, I know you were being facetious with your Daniel example but it would not change the ruck contest at all, just make it completely even which I think is fair.

No I didn't destroy my own argument, how many times a game is there a poor throw in compared to a bad bounce that is let go? You see bounces that are literally on the edge of the circle several times a game. How is that fair to the ruckman that has to stand under the ball and be jumped on by the opposition ruck? It is almost a free hitout for them

Bouncing an oval ball and throwing it in are two completely different things. Yeah the throw ins can be inconsistent at times but no where near the same as a bounce.

Was worth a week for sure, the Cunnington decision is bollocks though. If you hit someone so hard in the stomach that they are vomiting that must be worth a week.

The bounce is stupid, it should be an even contest in the middle but a lot of the time it is heavily favoured in one ruckmens favour

The thing I don't undertand is that they paid absolutely every holding the ball for the first 15 minutes and then suddenly completely changed the adjudication of the rule. I always try to be fair with the umpiring because I know it's a tough job but my god how does it change so dramatically. We honestly had about 3 or 4 tackles that should have been holding the ball in our forward 50.

I don't think we deserved to win anyway but I'm going to do an umpire rant anyway. That is one of the worst umpiring games that you would see. Bugg tackled 5 seconds after the mark was paid, Vince punched in the stomach so hard that he was spewing when he went off. Touch Brown and a free kick straight away, Hibbo handball in the last that ricocheted out of bounds called deliberate, seemed like numerous times we got tripped without a free kick, Salem rode into the ground when he didn't even have the ball. There was definitely more lets be honest. Rant over

The competition is so close this year that anything can happen, I think we will still manage to get to the finals this year but I don't think we are any chance to win it all but who knows

I just watched Hibberds post match interview and he spoke about "some individuals who weren't on their game early". I get super tunnel vision while watching the game live, was it the forwards he was talking about? I won't want the game again lets be honset

The amount of time Omac leaves his opponent to go 3rd man up and completely misses the ball is staggering
