This sums up the culture and attitude of the MFC that has held us back for years. Finals on the line and they are messing about like under 12’s. Complete lack of respect for Goody and for what is at stake. Essendon applied almost zero pressure all game and somehow we almost threw the game away. Now we see why. They certainly wanted the saints to win last night! That first Q was some of the most biased umpiring I have seen. I think it was 10-1 at one point.

I can't imagine why anyone including Jones himself would rationally think playing on is a good idea. He has been poor this year, not good last year. I don't want his career tarnished further by more poor performances. He adds very little at the moment unfortunately. Club legend for sure though

I'm tipping the saints to lose, they have been poor. what happens against the bombers is anyones guess, bombers winning by 6 goals and Joe kicking 6 wouldnt surprise me. We should win easily. The weather is dry so that is a positive as we play better in the dry especially during the day with no dew and we scoring should be easier for % The dogs are in form so a Freo win is unlikely. tonight is our only real chance imo

Hawks are in real trouble. how embarressing for their 'big names' like Wingard, O'Meara. Frost has been serviceable and taken some good marks but far from an elite player

out of interest, for the double up games, would you prefer more games against tougher opposition than bring in more revenue or more easier games that would result in a potentially higher ladder position but less revenue? I know it is not black and white but in general

I like the MVP, it would mean more to the players to be voted by your peers rather than the umpires. A much better indication of the best player in the league. Who ever thought of the umps voting for the brownlow should be shot, they are busy trying to ruin, sorry I mean umpire, the game Trac is a real chance I reckon, should be top 3
