He is a good prospect but we need to bring in blokes who are match fit and ready to go and Petty has had many injury worries. I am not against him coming in but he just needs to be ready. Melksham was very poor last year. However there has been a preseason and practice games in the meantime that we know little about. I read from a practice match a few weeks ago he applied himself well. He has enough good games under his belt to justify selection. But he should on notice.
