I like the MVP, it would mean more to the players to be voted by your peers rather than the umpires. A much better indication of the best player in the league. Can’t imagine anyone being interested in Tom. Unless he has injuries or issues that can be resolved in the off season, his body is cooked. At this stage he’ll be a back up tall defender for us.

I think people are thinking we were a better team in 2018 than we really were. We were 14-8. If we beat bombers we’ll be 9-8 - which is equivalent to a 12-10 record in a normal season so we are two wins off. Take into account some close losses this year we are not that different. Admittedly we scored a lot more freely in 2018 as we had good key fwds in form

Bombers would be crazy to win this one. Gold Coast will likely win and Blues/Freo will probably lose.
