Rivers and Hannan being omitted and a kid like Jordon not even getting a look in show we have good depth all over park. Aside from talls perhaps.

Geelong have to be the most greased up [censored] of a team
-
So are we to assume Gawn will be out for another month with this PCL now? which is the rest of the season really
-
two Saturday night prime slots and one lone Monday night slot is good for the sponsors Winnable games all. Keep the injuries to a minimum and I'd back us to win 4 or hopefully 5 and make finals
-
I reckon they'll pull Grundy out and itll be Cameron V Pruess. they'd be naive to go in with too many sore/underdone players. Grundy won't like the thought of a desperate Pruess finally getting a run after 12 months barrelling into him.

On the positive note, this highlights how good Jackson has been. A month ago we were thinking he is too raw to even get a game and now he is a massive loss. imagine him in 2-3 years with some size on him!

Sparrow to make it 3 rising star noms in 3 weeks. he is building. no chance to be dropped unless he needs a rest

Can we just deal with the freaking nightmare of 2020 first?
-
On one hand we have only beaten teams currently 12th or lower.or the other hand we have let to the top 4 plus the tigers. The season is poised beautifully to see where we really sit as we play 7 teams in roughly this middle group.
-
Biggest upset of the year. Giants are full of guns. Swans missing many top players. the 8 is open!
-
We could be in the 8 on Sat night if we win!
-
Jebus. I was hoping for a 4th option. It will be a much weakened team regardless. Preuss's last couple of games for us were very poor. His work around the ground almost non-existent I would not be surprised at all if they get creative with the ruck situation rather than playing Preuss
-
Unfortunately the Giants and dogs have easy games. Such a big game against the the Pies! I would call it an 8 pointer but it's still just played for 4 points
-
I reckon AVB might say G'day to him a few times in the first Q (if he plays)
-
So Gawn is either fine to play, he’ll be rested one more week or out for 4-6. that clears it up!!
-
Did someone this doesn’t help us? If the cheats won then they would be 4 points in front of us. i have no idea how the cheats let them subs back into the game. They had it sewn up. bombers are going nowhere. We should beat them comfortably
-
That makes 5 ‘season defining’ games in a row now
-
you might be right. The reserves write up mentions Hunt and Smith as possible to come in. maybe for Jones who could use a rest
-
I'm already excited to see the Suns (hopefully) smash the Dons. With the Saints, Tigers and us to come after tonight, their season should be done soon! which gives me far too much joy
-
Interesting to hear all the positivity on here about Demons beating the Pies. all we have done is beat the two worst teams in the comp. and lost to the two best teams. I wonder where we really sit? Somewhere between 7th and 12th I’d wager. the Pies are starting favourites for the game at the bookies. With their injuries and coming off a 4 day break we’d have to be a good chance
-
I'd say he'll be cut. The irony is he would very likely be getting a game at the bombers right, given their injuries We still have Petty to come back to help our tall fwd stocks
-
Finally some sense! Viney is not a guy you play majority of the time fwd. Rotate the best 4 through the midfield and rest one fwd. Oliver and Trac already spend time forward. Viney's intensity and aggression is clearly underated by some on here. When the top teams come and hopefully finals come, no doubt Viney is starting on the ball. Not sold on Gus yet, he has done well against the two worst teams in the comp, let's see if he can back it up against some decent teams

Wallace: Dees Stunted Weideman’s Development
DubDee replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
What a crock. I'm sure if the lions had Hogan and T Mac kicking 50 goals each, Hipwood wouldn't have gotten much for a game either Hipwood has looked like he adapted to AFL level quicker as despite being skinny, he is very agile and a different player to Weed -
Big out Treloar. Has been in great form
-
Any idea on Treloar, Hoskin-Elliott and qwaynor?
