I reckon the Lions get it done tonight in a big night for Fagan and the boys. They have the better team on paper but they need to put in a 4 Q effort of intensity. The experience of the Tigers may get them but I reckon the Lions by 4 pts I wouldn't be surprised to see some changes form Fagan - the big 3 of front isn't working. The team sheet has McStay at the back which I know means nothing but I would play him back as they miss Adams. Hit Cameron up more on the lead. interesting alright, but the dogs issue all year was quality tall fwds that take marks. Naughton was triple teamed. Schache is useless, UH and Darcy are young but look good. They need another tall to be 2nd ruck with English and take some marks On number 2, Freo are deperate for talls especially up fwd. with Lobb goen, Tabener always injured. I think they will not play Jackson no 1 ruck while Darcy is playing. Does LJ want to play predominately fwd?? doubt it

Depends how poor Melksham was and how T Mac feels but on face value I would play T Mac in the prelim. very harsh on melksham but a second talls adds a lot to our structure around the ground, not just up fwd Smith - Casey

So who do we want to win Saturday based purely on who we potentially play PF and GF. I think we want the Cats to win so we would face an easier PF opponent correct? But, I would love to see the Cats lose on saturday just to see them [censored] the bed and potentially go out in straights sets....

Crazy to wait until GF week, that'll only be 6 days of banner prior to our second flag. I'm putting my banner up on friday i reckon. I am preparing for less goodwill from the neighbours this year though. they all got on the board the poor demons last year but it will taper and if we win it again, I am looking forward to the hostility i receive next year!
