That Don Tyson bloke from Norf would be very handy depth at the moment.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
Am I right in thinking that he is a defender? What position did he play in last week during the practice game? Also, good luck to Jay in his debut.

Did you switch from having an IQ3 box to IQ4?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
At least Fremantle have a cool, calm and collected senior coach who will approach these indiscretions in a mature manner and deal with them appropriately.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The footage of Jesse that is doing the rounds is apparently 3 years old (apologies is this has already been posted). On Perth radio this morning the Dockers denied Hogan was involved in an incident in Mandurah over the weekend, only that he missed training due to being on the turps Saturday night. The Dockers have handled some recent off-field issues very poorly (and continue to handle Bennell poorly), let’s hope they deal with Hogan much better and get him the help he needs.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Let’s hope he pulls himself together, the bloke could be anything.

Sam Weideman + contract
Apart from J Smith I’d expect all of them to kick more than the nominated amount, especially McDonald. It wouldn’t be great if he went backwards this season.

Agreed. It’s a bit ‘meh’ for mine.

That’s the thing with meth, there’s not really such a thing as a casual user. Most people get hooked after their first hit and therefore most abuse it. Anyway I’ll leave it at that, I think it’s a very relevant discussion and enjoy reading posters different points of view.

Possibly cannabis. The stuff we see today, of which a large amount is grown locally by Vietnamese syndicates, is extremely potent and ridiculously sticky. They’re also known to lace it with meth or other dangerous chemicals to make it more addictive. Needless to say, legally grown and prescribed (or sold OTC) cannabis would be much ‘cleaner’ and safer.

Illicit Drug Use in AFL
I agree something needs to change, unfortunately there’s not an easy answer. I can see the benefits of legalising some illegal drugs, I just struggle to see the benefits when it comes to meth.

Illicit Drug Use in AFL
Chronic was all the rage a couple of years ago because it was seen as a legal form of marijuana. People who were too scared to purchase cannabis, due to it being illegal, were smoking chronic because they knew they couldn’t get into any trouble with the law. Luckily afternoon a number of teen deaths (mostly suicides) it’s now illegal as well.
