With respect, can we please let them play a game of AFL before we start creaming ourselves? Let's not forget what happened to the last "unstoppable" forward line we had pencilled in.
-
Don't forget how "excited" we're meant to be for GWS and expansion. It's so wonderful seeing how many talented players they've stockpiled.
-
For the love of God can we please raid Hawthorn's goalkicking and forward line coaches?
-
We'll be lucky not to get smashed, based on their last 3 matches.
-
Not to mention he probably offers far more in a marking and goalkicking sense than Dawes. He might do a lot less leading up the ground though, but we could go on all day about Dawes' flaws in spite of his leading patterns.

Hard not to wonder what's happening in that alternate universe where the Melbourne Hawks exist. Probably right behind the Tasmanian Devils on the ladder.
-
6.0.36 for the Hawks. Good kicking is good football. Take note, all 17 other teams.

Roosy's having a lend if he doesn't give Jamar a game next week. 3 weeks in a row he has done more than enough for a senior recall. If nothing else he needs a farewell game, if they've decided not to offer him another year.

I know everyone says it a lot, about umpiring... but that display against West Coast is the most obvious case of umpire favouritism to get a team over the line that I've ever seen. Obvious goal bafflingly called a poster by the goal umpire and corrected in the ensuing review, while a questionable "touched" call on the line isn't even reviewed (personally I think it was a goal). LeCras kicks the ball legitimately and it's a free against for "kicking above the knee". Replay shows a perfectly legal kick. Final count was 24-8 free kicks in Collingwood's favour. Shouldn't be surprised but it's getting to a point where you genuinely wonder about the integrity of the game itself (as if we would be surprised though). Almost every 50/50 call went in the Pies favour and the umpires still picked out nothing frees to help them.

Thanks for the updates KC, your efforts are always appreciated here. Good to hear the Scorps might get 2/2 today!

Hamstring tightness sounds perfectly normal to me, especially after sugery. If he's actually done his hammy though, that's probably season over.

I'm guessing we will use it against Carlton. Has anybody emailed the club to ask?
-
Joe will have free reign of the forward line but no players to kick it to him, once WADA get the job done.

Should be renamed the Casey Kents in his honour.
-
That inaccuracy is very concerning. 10 behinds that should've been goals!
-
Have you actually looked at the content offered by other clubs?

I have no idea why Geelong are favourites. We pantsed them. North pantsed them. Selwood missing tomorrow. Bulldogs on a roll.

We really are a long way behind most other clubs in the media stakes. I think the only player we had a debut reaction video for was vandenBerg.

Multis are a good way to make fast money. Just combine 4 or 5 "sure things," as you said. ...not that I'm a gambling addict, or anything...

It's funny how every season the commentators bang on about how "even" the competition is, yet the results paint a different story. For me, the league is clearly divided into 3 categories: premiership contenders (1-4), wildly overestimate themselves (5-12), and no chance in hell (13-18).

Tipped them by 28 pts. So close!

"Geez, a goal here, it really would tighten the game up, wouldn't it?" - Bruce.

Watching tonight, it's painfully clear to me that the conditions probably cost us the game last week. Essendon are absolute faeces. The conditions, as predicted, kept it close and tight and gave them a sniff. It also buggered our accuracy.

Seven's commentary... leaves much to be desired.
