Farewell Jesse Hogan
Freo quite happily took pick 2 last year for Lachine Weller, yet won't give at least pick 5 for Hogan? You'd think the football department would be smart enough to bring this trade up in discussions, along with other trades in the past. Some clubs want to give up nothing, but get a 5 star meal in return. Tell em to get stuffed!

Aaron vandenBerg not going - signs a new deal!!!
Sounds like a manager trying to get more money/security for his client, which he’s paid to do. I hope we’d all do the same. Remember clubs easily get rid of the 40-44th player on the list each year without a thought. Loyalty to a club is only brought up when it suits them.

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
We have a long time to wait to see a response unfortunately (apart from the second half of course)

Whoever was worried that Collingwood made the Grand Final instead of Richmond please stand up!

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
Both teams arms were linked during the national anthem!!!! It's going to be a draw!

The Other Preliminary Final
For those that watch The Footy Show, Ed will be pitching a tent all episode with his smug face (don't actually watch it). Be nice to see Mick Molloy brought down a peg on The Front Bar, he's been cocky as about his team all year.

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
So true Saber, the city of Melbourne will be pumping with a Melb/Coll Grand Final, and everyone that doesn't go for Coll will be supporting the Dees, a bit like the Dogs two years ago. I don't know why but I think the stars will align to make this happen, super proud we have got this far with either result today, but I'm liking this winning feeling.

Opposition Watch: Elimination Final
No don’t see the Geel Adv Danelska, I can only imagine! I hate Geelong too. Just articles like Oliver saying we don’t fear the Cats, Max saying potentially if we get through for Bernie, Frost hoping to curb Hawkins etc. 2 matches ago were potentially staring at 9th, let’s just get through the Elimination final before anything else, just think it gives opposition ammunition.

Opposition Watch: Elimination Final
Been a lot of positive articles about the Dees this week, haven’t seen as many on the Cats. I just hope we can back it up, sometimes wish we were major underdogs, less pressure and expectation.

GAMEDAY - Round 23
Our delivery into the forward line needs to improve, I swear players don’t look sometimes and goes straight down the throat of the opposition. I could do a better job. Smarten up Dees!

Ladder predictor
Yep if we can't beat top 4 teams let alone top 8 teams, then don't even think about premierships. Great opportunity for the club and the players. Don't want to rely on other results, back yourselves in Dees!

GAMEDAY - Round 18
Who is the player or the collective group of players who are going to say "follow me boys, let's get this done"? North had Carey in his heyday, along with a group of players who all played their role. Pies have had Pendlebury who is a gun that has always stood up his whole career when it matters. We need those internal drivers to propel this club to the next level. Oliver is a great start, but we need others to consistently jump on board together when needed in these big games. I'm not convinced yet that we have after so many failures, but come on, these players need to get fair dinkum to be a 'GREAT' team.
