  1. Has been rolled up and smoked by nearly every oppo defence this season
  2. I didn't say he had NFI, I'm talking about anyone who thinks Hogan should just get on with it and act like a professional as his getting paid so much money ect ect. Majority of his post was excellent but he started his very 1st post with "mark my words", screams of old poster RR / ETD.
  3. Sorry but Steve is already right on this one. Hogans work while at the MFC is proof he was a hard working professional. Add going down to the Holden centre nearly every day by himself to work on his goal kicking and going to watch other AFL games to study how other forwards worked. He may well fall off the cliff but who would blame him. Only people with NFI.
  4. A few good games early in the season, a couple of 5+ goal games, then a Range Rover / enter the dragon reincarnation, stirring up all the chicken little's about how we were robbed. 50+ pages easy.
  5. Funny that a large portion of Freo supporters are moaning how they paid overs for Hogan yet only a very small portion of Dee's supporters are winging we got unders.
  6. It was the feather and Belly boys cap
  7. Time to start the Brayshaw home to Victoria and the Dee's circus!
  8. Only 23, learning from the best and Max obviously gets along well with him. Based on his AFLX comment. We might have a big win.
  9. Way overs, your not suggesting Josh should bend over again?
  10. In the last quarter when Gunston got that free for taking out the legs, when they were coming hard at us. He missed the shot but up in the Olympic stand it looked like it went through. A couple of Hawks supporters in front of us jumped up and celebrated turning around really trying to rub all the Melbourne supporters noses in it. You think by the silence they would have worked out that he missed but no they were just loving being complete [censored]. I even had time to say to my sister, "wonder when someone will tell them that he missed" her reply "Let them go, this is Gold" ????
  11. Add Spargo
  12. Bennell was always a risk, injury issues and his other issues were pretty public, even one of his family said it would be a mistake for him to return to WA. Nothing comparable to Jesse. Just crap from Watson.
  13. On one hand you have Goodwin and Mahoney who stays tight lipped and gets deals done to get the players we chase. Or you get Ross the Boss and Bell do everything I can to make a [censored] out of myself. WA would have to be losing some shine.
  14. 1 example of this was the Port Game. In the last quarter on the wing Jesse went a 1 handed marking attempt. He got a good piece of it so as a marking option should have gone both hands and clunked it. Can't remember whether the ball was turned over or went out of bounds but the next disposal after that was a port kick down the line and a mark to Westoff and a 60m penalty which he slotted and stole the lead. It just wasn't good enough of an effort, especially at that critical stage in the game.
  15. Spot on, and add to this: They pull out of the trade, then rumours circulate that Jesse is damaged goods. No S#!@ Sherlock, losing a parent at that age, especially when you have a close knit family, will "damage" a person. (Speaking from person experience) Also if Jesse is the different cat, introverted bloke that people say. Well I'm sure his going to feel right at home at Freo now!! Bunch of morons.
  16. Club would know by now. If he's staying we'll know soon. If leaving they will work a deal with Freo before announcing anything. Freo don't have the currency to do a deal yet. They have to do Neale trade 1st then maybe pick swaps with Port before we even start negotiating. If he's leaving trade won't get done today.
  17. Don't mind if he stays or goes so to make the day more interesting would like Barrett or Stevo to make an early call on his decision and balls it up!
  18. Jesse will tell the club today but the club might want another 10 or so pages before they tell us.
  19. That's Mahoney posturing to get value in the trade, not the reason behind the trade. As in "Hogan wants to go home or Melb giving him a push because he won't sign another contract"
  20. That's not the public line, the club has said very little, but oblivious from your statement you know more than everyone.
  21. Simple, sign now with the MFC or look elsewhere.
  22. Keilty might not get another contract depending on which defenders we bring in this trade and draft, but he certainly should get another year if there is room. In hindsight we should have bought him in instead of Petty for the Saints game. He had a solid finals series in the VFL and was one of the few that stood up in the grand final. Can't rubbish a player who hasn't even had a crack at the AFL but who's VFL performance have been solid with a few BOG in there.
  23. And as I've posted before, I think the Hogan trade is being driven by the club. Sign a contract now or move on. Which is entirely fair as Hogan has said he likes it at Melbourne and if he did sign a 2/4 year extension and things changed next year and he decided he wanted to go back to WA, then we trade him then.
  24. I was talking about Vanders, I would expect the club to offer him extras to make life easier for him if he was going to stay but not force him to stay if he wants to leave.
  25. Putting up a fight to keep a bloke away from his family who's father just died would not only be a fail for the club but a failure at humanity.
